I am a hardcore GOT7 fan, and while I like and respect BTS for the quality and sincerity of their songs, I was never interested in watching any of their dance videos. I know the rivalry between got7 and bts and jackson being my bias, you already know who I usually defend. But damn. This video makes me realize how easy GOT7 had it with their hip hop laidback style of choreo. I'm aware the styles of the group themselves are completely different, but the amount of sweat and blood that goes into their practice REALLY shows from just their dancing. Man. Mad respect and I will definitely keep a lookout for BTS in the future.
Yes, u should..I like Got7 too..especially Jackson :) but I think BTS is so different and they work really hard..It really satisfying listen to BTS..they are not only talented, they seem really genuine and hilarious too..u should check out their video bomb that they constantly upload..so funny and spontaneous..
Then you need watch ALL BTS's dance practices bcos there are better ones then this, with every video they always get better and better. And now they're coming back, watch teasers, it'll be their best comeback ever^^
i totally can get where you coming from. jackson is my bias in GOT7 too, ive watched and compared many many many of dance practices videos, especially the hardcore hip hop one, BTS i could say outdo everyone in their category, and in terms of the sharp & difficult choreo, total sync, teamwork, expression, stage presence, plus considering two of the member Jin and Rapmon cant dance to save their lives LOL but their hardwork and effort really shown in every of their practice video. each member put out their 100%, and I AM TOTALLY agree with you, finally a fan with sense! GOT7 acrobatics and casual hip hop choreo is actually FAR from what BTS is capable of, yet so many/some fangirls is going around telling everybody their GOT7 oppar can do acrobatic moves and hip hop music like no one else can. i understand a fangirl heart though. all the best to GOT7 too, their songs are catchy and the boys is also charming.
of the FEW dance pracs i've seen (got7, exo, shinee etc) this grp seems to dance the most powerfully :D the others are great too but the feel is really different srsly...
I'm not saying this because I'm biased for BTS but honestly, BTS is by far the best dance group for boy bands out there. They move together crisp and smoothly. Even the "can't dance line" rap monster and Jin, look at them. By far THE best rookie group. Amazing talents.

Tae is forced to strain his voice by growling as BTS were still more hip hop based at the time so Tae could not use his true baritone. Tae has long since stopped forcing damage to his voice when singing early BTS songs ~ he lightens the growl or leaves it to ARMY to fill in the damaging parts. 💜
