Your story is so similar to mine. I started in 2013 as a captive agent for 9 months selling Medicare supplements and life insurance. I then went out on my own at the start of ACA (which I really did not want to do, but I did it anyway.) I grew my book of business to over 700 clients just on ACA. I continued doing Medicare and got into Medicare advantage and grew my Medicare book as I was growing my ACA book. Good money doing that.
If I had to start now, I would do the same. I agree that Medicare and ACA is the way to go especially if you are starting out as a new agent. I agree with Luis, that you have to get a system that works. Even with my experience, I love to hear what Luis says on this channel because an old dog like me, still learns as we go. I just got the course that Luis has talked about and in my time, I have been checking it out and the information I am getting it out of it so far is OUTSTANDING!
The key is to get with someone who can mentor you. As Luis, I do look for agents, however, I think if you are looking for support as a up-line, Luis is a great mentor.
Luis, Thanks for all you do and thanks for all you have done with my business as I have not only got Agent CRM, but now have got The Facebook course too.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and for your kind words!!
I couldn't agree more about the importance of having a solid system in place and finding a good mentor. This business is not easy but certainly not too hard once you get a good handle on what to do. Let me know how the course works for you!!

I just got my license with no prior knowledge of this business and am working for an agency selling Medicare Advantage. I can’t wait to start my own Agency in the future once I get skin in the game. Your information is invaluable and I’m taking notes along the way! Thank you so much brother ✊🏽

How do you deal with all the flipping and changes I tried doing g aca was spend 2000 a month on leads and writing but losing many or many more n a plan already

the first thing is that carriers are slowly putting a stop to this. They are making it harder for these rat agents to keep doing this

you can file a complaint, but right now there is not much happening to them

talk to your insureds, let them know what happened and see if thats what they wanted. If they have no idea what happened, I would recollect consent and confirmation and try to get them back
