Thanks this video helped a lot, I wasn’t able to log in because I had no space left on my hard drive but with your be this I was able to logging and delete some files then boot and login as normal.

Linux Mint, doesn´t let me create other User Account, due to caracthers requires, difficult to fix anyways, too much for a Log In issue on a Linux new Distro in 2021... dudes

@@DanielAldasB My problem was with the .Xauthority file I followed the article I posted above and fixed the issue for some reason the method in this video is not working for me.
@@ahqro Step 1: open up the advanced boot options for Linux mint Step 2: Go to recovery mode of Linux Mint Step 3: Once recovery mode opens up go to root, then you will be in terminal Step 4: Type dpkg -configure -a Then sudo apt-get update Then sudo reboot now Then boot normally. Hope that helps

If someone's disk is full, just navigate to some folder to delete some files first...and then run startx👍

I was using HP laptop, not sure why you can't se this screen. Try all F keys

@@ahqro I plugged in a USB and put all the files there by using root terminal in recovery mode and then reinstalled it completely
