This dude knows the whole rockabilly genre from birth early albums he used the blues scales a lot sick ass dude! 🙌🏼
I had the pleasure of having this man sit in and sign my hearse back in a show in 07❤
Crazy that I got my upright from FMI over ten years ago now, and just a year ago my idol swings by letting y'all post this. Hope you're all healthy and well!
Damn. Looking old. Still, best bassist I've had the pleasure of watching at multiple Wrecker's Ball
I met him outside the House Of Blues in Texas and he was super cool.Smokes like a freight train!
What strings is he using? They have such a springy sound. I like it....
Rotosound 4000 Superbs A-D-G-C tuned down to E-A-D-G. Commonly called a "bumped" set
Makes it all look effortless.

@@Zombiefink13 thank u. Do you mean the superb rs4000?
@@contranauta yep, but bumped. So ditch the E, use the a as an e, D as an a, g as as D and a bumped roto g. It's for lower tension.
@@Zombiefink13 thank you good sir!! Hey so i get the other strings being moved up one, but for the G, do you use another G?
@@Nekroman111 get a rotosound custom G! It's a high f or something for memory. Gollihur sell em.
