I have a disabled 21 yo daughter that I have begun teaching the art of crafting to. She suffered a tragic, life changing event at the tender age of 13 and suffers from severe PTSD, depression and anxiety, which prevents her from having a regular job. I want her to be able to do something with her life to provide some income for herself, and something that will help her with her anxiety and self-esteem. Crafting does all these things!! And, she LOVES IT!! We found your channel, and it's one of the few she insists we listen to without listening to music. She says your voice is so soothing and helps her anxiety go away as she listens. I just want you to know you the impact you have on one little girl, and to say, thank you from a momma's heart. Not many things ease her pain. We have recreated many of your beautiful items, which she sells online, and I sale for her at craft shows. Thank you so very much for being the lovely and inspiring woman you are! May God continue to Bless , look after, encourage and enrich you and your family. A mom in NC.
I loved, loved your sock babies (snowman, mice, bunnies. I am going to make the bunnies into Valentine bunnies with Valentine socks! I gave them for gifts and they went nuts. I need some clever ideas for Valentines - and your website is my favorite! Thanks, Joyce
This is so pretty and your soft voice is wonderful on the ears !!! What a simple , lovely tag !! Going on a calendar hunt tomorrow...... with my mask and gloves of course !! May everyone out there be protected by the LORD .
Everything that you make looks like a professional job - like it came right out of a store. You go the extra mile on your crafts paying attention to the smallest of details which really makes a difference in the end result.
So very very easy and beautiful! Think I will make some for the ladies at my church for Mother's Day! Thank you for sharing! I really enjoyed it .... ESPECIALLY the "no rules"!
I know this is a couple of years old but I decided to watch again. Enjoyed just as much as the first time. I do have a hand crank die cutter and a Cricut but i also enjoy doing things a bit more simply sometimes. Just depends on my mood. 😉 Love all the sparkle and shine. TFS all your great ideas.
These tags are so lovely and feminine I think they would be great as a gift with half a dozen in a pretty box with a covering matching the tags. Thank you so much for sharing.
Lovely!! I so admire anything that doesn't cost a fortune to create, BUT, looks like it did! Awesome ideas. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas, etc. I have several calendars, & will probably purchase two more just for this type of craft. Simply perfect !
Thank you! This video inspired me to take my DT calendar off the wall. I have loved the images on this calendar and often contemplated over the year on how to save it, recycle the images, and put it to a new use. Love the idea of tying a charm on the ribbon. Yay for DT so we can be creative without paying a fortune😊
Ok so now I have to go back to the Dollar Tree a THIRD time this week to get calendars. I LOVE those tags. You're not long winded, you're very good about explaining as you go. :) Keep the videos coming please!
Such a great idea. Beautiful tag and easy to follow instructions to follow. You could even iron napkins onto the tags and then add embellishments to them. TFS
Thanks for sharing! I do have a die cutting machine. I use it primarily to cut flowers so I can then make dimensional OOAK flowers out of whatever paper I want. For me this has turned out to be a huge money saver. I also have a tag die, and a few others I use often. But I don't purchase dies I may only use a few times. Like rubber stamps, I rarely use so many of them. But there are some I use over and over. This is where I learned the lesson to really think about multiple ways to use something before I buy! So thank you again for reinforcing that with me! Super cute tags! This also justified my saving calendars😉
This is a wonderful project!!! I am going to make mine tomorrow!!! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us!!!! God bless and keep you always!!!!!
These are SO pretty, and thank you for showing how to make something creative and fun without it costing an arm and a leg. I like your low-keyed way of speaking. Very relaxing. God bless!
I love listening to you. I'm doing a scrapbook for my 3 year old granddaughter so I'm going to incorporate these into it. Thanks so much for your awesome ideas
I love using what stores call silk-flowers, so much to choose from! and so easy to embellish. Thank you for this tutorial, great ideas! Love those calendar pages.
So pretty! I have been saving old calendars for years and never thought of making tags. I can't wait to get in my craft room and start making some! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.
Thanks for the calendar idea. I will check it out on my next trip to Dollar Tree. I am also constantly looking for shapes to make tags. I recently went on google and got a butterfly template which I plan to us on a tag flip some time
Still going back to your older videos and I love these tags. I've been keeping calendars for some time and now I can make tags with them. Be well, be safe TYFS
I missed this video and I can not believe I missed this one. These are so pretty! I want to make some of these. Thank You so much! God Bless You and Hugs!
Thank you for doing the gift tags. It is a great way to do something with the calendars I have . Also, it would be good for a seniors center to do this in arts and crafts. I look forward to seeing what else you do.
How adorable! I have this same exact calendar and copied the bunny onto card stock and used it as the cover of a signature, so as soon as I saw the bunny, I had to watch your video. So, now I am off to Dollar Tree to find the 2017 version....I love the graphics! I love the idea you used with the flowers and Stickles. And Thanks for the introduction to the Craft Twinkles by Deco Art. I'm off to the workroom. Thanks for the inspiration !
Lovely tags!!! I usually see the videos with Dollar Tree materials late and can't get them. The 2017 calender you showed however, I saw a month or more ago and loved so much, I bought at least 6!!! Love and Light Vivian
What a wonderful idea. I always hate to throw away my previous years calendars, now I can keep some part of them. I'm thinking longer tags would make lovely bookmarks.
These are beautiful! I love seeing these calendars recycled. Please do share what else you do with the leftovers! Happy New Year and thank you for sharing!
What a wonderful idea. That paper is so gorgeous that I think I may try and make a mini album with it. Got to get to the Dollar Store! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Absouloutely loved this tutorial!!!! Made me feel like running to Dollar Tree and Walmart and buy The supplies. Im always looking for ideas and new ways to pretty up my tags for my knitted gifts or jewelry. I love Victorian things and fairy themes and this is absolutely perfect for those occasions, beautiful.job! Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
I am a couple of years late, but I did find you and subscribed. Lovely tags, and I about wore my camera out taking pictures of the steps you showed. Thanks so much. New subscriber here.
These are gorgeous and easy to make. Just found you today and already subscribed before watching all the video. I love that you use simplicity and make it amazing. I have all the things you used and I will be making tags and I plan to make bookmarks too. Thanks for an awesome video. Can't wait to see what you do next. Will be going back and watching your other videos. Have a great day and God Bless.
Lovely demo. I have more calendars than I know what to do with and since watching the magic you create, they will be used wisely and beautifully. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
I really appreciate the details you give for each step. I am new to crafting and have been overwhelmed by the complexity of some projects, and the expense too. Step by step instructions are great for me! I loved your cute project!
I was just making the pick me up tags when I ran across your video and just let it play on while I worked. I have been putting a pick me up tag in with my birthday cards that I make out of recycled cards (using the same color scheme or the back ground paper. I have had a lot of fun making them and giving them also. Thank you so much for all your ideas. I have made a few of the gift tags also...not as many as I did for Christmas, I really got carried away with them. Have a Blessed day.
This is just lovely and I have to say it is extremely refreshing to find someone who doesn't use all the fancy gadgets like you mentioned with die cutting machines etc. I really love your tags, very inspirational :) ~Karin~

Thank you. You have taught me so much today! I love to make tags,, and you have shown me a whole new, much easier way to do it. This video is going in my favorites here in RUclips.
Thanks so much for this wonderful video - it's the first one of yours that I've watched, but I'll be watching them all, now! I have panic disorder and was raised very strictly - things at home had to be done perfectly or punishment was severe. So, for many years, I've read books and magazines, watched craft videos and so on, but because I knew I couldn't do it perfectly, I didn't even try. Watching your video was so relaxing and yet so interesting at the same time. As others have said, you have a very calming voice, and your reassurance that things do NOT have to be perfect has given me the confidence to try these beautiful tags - AND watch many more of your videos!! Thank-you again, and God bless!
These are beautiful! I think I have that very same calendar in my collection. Anyway even if I don't I just love these & that they can be done inexpensively yet look so rich. Thanks for sharing☺
I have started cutting up cereal and other food boxes to use for tags, etc. It's thin cardboard like the kraft tags you show here. The boxes only get tossed into the recycling bin, so if they can be used for tags, they're free. That's a GREAT price. :) There is something about tags that really dress up a card and are good for making embellishments for cards, as well. I'm sure enjoying this video. I do have die cut machines (manual) and like things like that, but they are not really necessary. Not using them is a lot more economical, but I just like toys and they're good birthday and Christmas presents.
I love your videos and projects, this tag is gorgeous, I wish I had seen this calendar last year, it is so pretty, maybe they will have something similar in this year's calendar selection. I never would have thought of using the glue for the flowers, it looks so pretty on them. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas.
You have the most impeccable talent. I enjoy learning and listening to your voice. It’s relaxing and soothing after a rough day. Keep up the amazing work you do.
I just love your videos! You do such a great job explaining things and also explaining the products you use and where they can be purchased. That is such a great help!! These tags are beautiful! Happy New Year!
Happy Bird, these tags are stunning! I'm not very good with crafts, but THIS one I can do! Glad to know that the glitter glue stiffens those flowers from Dollar Tree . . I get disappointed when they're all floppy, and don't buy them because of that; now I will. You have a great eye for balance and scale of the designs. Thanks, and will be following your tutorials this year. Cheers!

Calendars often have such pretty artwork. What a great way to up-cycle.
Yes, I agree! Too pretty just to toss.
Everything that you make looks like a professional job - like it came right out of a store. You go the extra mile on your crafts paying attention to the smallest of details which really makes a difference in the end result.
You are so sweet! Thank you very much!
So very very easy and beautiful! Think I will make some for the ladies at my church for Mother's Day! Thank you for sharing! I really enjoyed it .... ESPECIALLY the "no rules"!

Yes! My favorite kind of craft! :o)

I love that you don't use all the 'tools' that so many do. You use your imagination and you are quite creative----Is great!! :)
Hi, Lori. I like the way you offset the petals for the flowers. It makes them look so full and beautiful. It makes me want to try them. Hugs!
Lovely!! I so admire anything that doesn't cost a fortune to create, BUT, looks like it did! Awesome ideas. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas, etc. I have several calendars, & will probably purchase two more just for this type of craft. Simply perfect !

Such a great idea. Beautiful tag and easy to follow instructions to follow. You could even iron napkins onto the tags and then add embellishments to them. TFS
How gorgeous, the glitter glue is so effective in small amounts.
Thanks for sharing! I do have a die cutting machine. I use it primarily to cut flowers so I can then make dimensional OOAK flowers out of whatever paper I want. So many ideas! I wouldn't have thought to build my own flowers. thank you for the inspiration.
Love this idea for using calendars. I get so many beautiful ones in the mail each year, and don't want to throw them away. Very pretty!

I loved it! I have to say I will be running to my dollar tree for extra calendars
Thank you Melissa! Enjoy!
These are a great idea and they turned out beautifully! I have a lot of greeting cards that I have been saving and I might just make them into tags!
Thank you Sweetie!
This is just lovely and I have to say it is extremely refreshing to find someone who doesn't use all the fancy gadgets like you mentioned with die cutting machines etc. I really love your tags, very inspirational :) ~Karin~
Love this idea! They look so pretty when you're done with them!
New subbie here. This craft is pretty! I also use calendars for art to use in crafts. :-) You can make more space on your desk by going vertical at the back part of your desk. If you meant needing more desk top space for laying things out, you can cut a piece of flat wood to make the whole desk top wider - cut to size and nail down to table and then add all your cubbies, mini drawers and storage back on top of your wider desk top. I did that to an old sewing table. -Diana.
Thank you. You have taught me so much today! I love to make tags,, and you have shown me a whole new, much easier way to do it. This video is going in my favorites here in RUclips.
Your tags turned out very beautiful! Love the calendar that you used, such pretty images! Tfs hugs Renee
Thank you Sweetie!
Making them longer would be beautiful as a bookmark!
Absolutely! Thank you Roberta!
Thank-you again, and God bless!
you don't know how much I enjoy watching you videos tfs peace and love 🌻
Thank you Terry!
These are beautiful! I think I have that very same calendar in my collection. Anyway even if I don't I just love these & that they can be done inexpensively yet look so rich. Thanks for sharing☺
You are very welcome Adrine!
Your tutorials are so wonderful. Thank you HappyBird!
You are so very welcome Sweetie!
Great! Iwould never thought to use my old calendar!
Very nice. I love them. I made tags and layered my paper flowers and cluttered them
You have the most impeccable talent. I enjoy learning and listening to your voice. It’s relaxing and soothing after a rough day. Keep up the amazing work you do.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment Cristi! Hugs to you!
I just picked up the new 2019 calendars at DT. They go so fast and this tag is a Go To!
You are so creative! Thank you for sharing something that is so beautiful and encourages us to use our stash and old calendars. HUgs
Thank you so very much! I'm glad you

I just love your videos! You do such a great job explaining things and also explaining the products you use and where they can be purchased. That is such a great help!! These tags are beautiful! Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for your encouraging
words Hun! :o)
Cheers!
Awww! I hope you have fun with them
Sweetie! Thanks so much for the encouraging words! God bless! :o)
God bless you as well Happy Bird! TFS. I’ve been looking at my old calendars with a different sight now!
