Even though I'm not into these gorgeous solos, I enjoy the lessons. I really should have started when I was young...😢
    Thank you Rob! 🎶🎶🎶

That's exciting Anthony, congrats! This one has a lot of the same techniques, but just a tad more challenging IMO. Have fun! -Rob

@@swiftlessons I am up for the challenge! Especially since you are such a GREAT teacher. I love how detailed your lessons are, and that you teach us the scales being used -I’ve been wanting to learn this song for a long time. I think your lesson on this song is the best and the most accurate. I love Santanas style-Like David Gilmour, very expressive and melodic. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to grab my guitar tonight after work.👍👍🎸🎸

Very good lesson. Glad I found your channel. I think you are one of the best teachers of guitar/music in method and manner online.
Good idea to use the SG. As a teenager saw Santana play one and this song by Peter Green in San Francisco.
BTW: I’ve asked in an earlier video about the the ES-335 looking Gibson with the block inlays that end on the 15th fret. What model is that? Except for the headstock, looks just like my Sheraton.

Thanks so much, so glad you’re digging my teaching style. That Gibson is basically a Frankenstein guitar made up of both Gibson and non-Gibson parts. It was designed and assembled by some luthiers up in New Haven. Other than that, I don’t know too much about it.

Hey Juan, all I am using is an ibanez tube screamer. You’re also hearing a little compression and delay added in post via the CLA guitar plugin.

I don't understand why you wouldn't start by saying "this is the key and this is the scale / mode we are going to be in." That would at least give some context.

Yes, that was done in part number one of the lessons series. I see your point though, I should have.
