Hi thank you for your question, it would be best not to wear any jewellery when changing the printers ribbon, as this jewellery can come into contact with the print head and can cause damage to the printing elements.
I find the auto calibrate function quite annoying. It executes every time I switch the printer on and ejects 4 empty labels which is a waste of labels and ribbon since I dont change media rolls very often. Is there a way to disable or bypass the auto calibration function?
Hi, thank you for your question, to stop the printer auto calibrating every time you power on the printer simply leave the print head open when powering on. Wait for all of the lights to turn off, then close the print head. The printer will only calibrate on power on with the print head closed. If you are using only 1 size of label then auto calibrate would be a nuisance, but if you use more than 1 size then the auto calibrate on power on is really useful.
The auto calibrate function should start when the printer is powered off, loaded with media, the head closed and then powered on. If this doesn't work then there is a diagnostic tool that can be used to calibrate the printer. Contact the company that supplied you the printer and they should be able to provide you with a copy of the Toshiba FV setting tool.
Hi I'm from Indonesia, I have a question. Can we wear accessories or jewelry when installing the ribbon, such as rings, bracelets, or watches?

Hi, how to adjust printing darkness?
Hi to adjust the printing darkness this must be done in the printer driver settings. Best to use the printer driver from Seagull Scientific website.
