A very clear a concise review! I’ve been using adobe software for a bout 7/8 years but I think I agree on this besides figma seems to be way more accessible! Great video you got a subscription from me!
In Xd we can do prototype means we can make buttons clickable but in Illustrator there is no such thing bcs illustrator is a vector based tool while Xd is a UI design tool , I have told you in simple ways
Hi, I'm good in Photoshop and Illustrator, and working as a web designer from last 8 years, and wanna learn more about UI design, Can you please suggest on which software I should focus, and what will be good source of learning for that software.. Please suggest.
I am using a photoshop cc, sketch but I am switching to XD because of the responsive features, grid and the voice and time prototyping and record the video for our app or website isn't so cool.. I loved it thank u sir for the comparing all of them
I m a graphic designer.... But I want to add more skill in designing but I m very confuse for UI designing....can u please tell me what's the right way to learn UI designing....in less time
Using XD as of now! but Figma is Becoming more and more powerful so far! Best thing it is universal! works on any OS! And it's new UI update is very good!
Sir, will never forget what you're doing for the young designers :) however I still have a doubt about the software to be used, while I'm looking for UI designer Jobs all companies are asking for Sketch or Adobe XD as requirements so will I get a Job by learning Figma?
@@swatisushma6547 Regardless of where you are from, design jobs in general, what you need to have is your portfolio to showcase to your employer. So if you want to get a job in UI design, I suggest you build up some apps or website in your free time. Look up on google or youtube, other UI designers' portfolios.
Pre 2010 a lot of people were using Fireworks which is a far superior tool for ui design than Photoshop and still a very good tool now even though Adobe ditched support for it in 2013
it is really a useful video. Would like to give you 10 likes for that. Clear explanation and suggestion. But could I ask a question? Does any of these design tools support conversion to HTML files? If not, so all of these are remain at the design level and it is for the reference of programmer only?
There are so many day in a life of ux ui designer videos which gives a little hint about where all a designer is spending his or her time. But these videos does'nt dive deep into what their actual work is. Like for a developer, though he spends a lot of time in meetings, KTs to ensure everyone is on the same page. But the actual bread and butter for him is coding. What about ux ui designer here. Working on tools is the actual work or user research. What if someone who is introvert is good in tools but not that good in research interviews etc.
Oh man you just gave me confidence to start working on an app which ever I pick. You deserve my subscribe, thank you!
Excellent breakdown of the tools, and love your comment at the end about tools first and application of theory after... Makes perfect sense.
I liked your point when u mentioned that pick either one & be an expert on that. Thanks for sharing ur opinion.
My pc cant support xd then i explored figma and i loved it . using it for web design . One of the best thing of figma it is web based
But... how to work offline then?
@@FhVW only online

Thank you! I have been debating for weeks about this. So helpful.

It will give you the CSS or SVG
Lunacy is pretty good for Windows and similar to sketch
Excellent video
What are your thoughts on Invision Studio?
Seems pretty cool, but found it to be limiting for big projects. Also quite a few bugs/crashes last time I tried it
XD on windows is garbage compared to mac version
Very helpful.
For figma, don't I have to start paying after sometime? how long does the trial version?
It's free for personal use. You only pay when you need to work with a team and have multiple editors on a file
Is that an Inner Sanctum T-shirt?
Yes.
Great
Thank you!!!
Great tutorial sir
Hi Abhinav, please add me in WhatsApp group which you have mentioned in earlier videos, and by the way you do great work, India needs more designers.

Depends on your role.
If it’s Product Designer or UI/UX Designer, then both. If it’s UX Researcher or Visual Designer then just one
Inner Sanctum gang
Adobe XD - it supports RTL, unlike Figma which doesn't.
Xd only works on Win 10. Not everyone is using Win 10.
Ahh okay, didn’t know that. In that case, go for Figma! Works on any computer with a browser
ABNUX Yep I am following your videos. You are awesome. 🙌🏻
It's not true man it exists in MAC OS before and not only Windows 10
Also except figma, none of them works on ubuntu.
i am happy to find you
I will pic Zeplin :)
Figma is somewhat like GitHub .
