A little tip when taking tokaido shinkansen from Tokyo. Choose Seat E, you will be able to see Mt Fuji when the weather is good at around Shin- Fuji station. Get your camera ready after Mishima station.

There are so many Takoyaki shops in Osaka! Every locals may have a different favorite. The style can varies a lot from shop to shop. Some are more crispy, some can be super soggy. Some is special for the toppings, some is special for the broth use in the batter... one thing they all have in common, hotttttttt. Takoyaki are just so hot they are lethal.

I loved your video of my home town. My parents moved us from Osaka to the Boston area in 1965. I get back as often as I can.
I'm glad Cody finally got his takoyaki. I hope you find lots of other great food. Check out the Osaka Aquarium and their giant ferris wheel. You must ride the handful of cars they have glass bottoms. There are often American street performers in the plaza in front of the aquarium/ferris wheel.
Looking forward to your next video.

🍚🥚"Chitose Udon"(千とせ) in Namba Osaka serves meat soup, udon and eggyolk rice(Tamago kake gohan) for brunch-lunch. I think it is a small shop that is worth a try. It serves only lunch, 10:30 to 14:00.
It is nearby the famous "Sennichimae Doguyasuji Shopping Street" which is a interesting shopping street that sells kitchen wares, bowls, cups and stuffs.
And while you are there, it is worth a culture shock visiting the 「NMB48 Theater」 and「NMB48 official shop」 for a glance of the Japanese idol culture. They are all in the same walking area so it's definitely worth a visit! (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

Oh, you came to Osaka, Welcome to Kansai.
Osaka is famous among tourists for Dotonbori in Namba, but the area known as Kita is also attractive. Osaka Station is a very modern architecture. The view from the Sky Building is also wonderful. And the Nakanoshima area is very modern.
And if you have the time, Kobe is also a great place to visit. It takes only 20 minutes from Osaka Station to Sannomiya Station by Shin-Kaisoku.
Kobe is a city with many residential areas near the sea and mountains. It is also a cosmopolitan city with many foreigners living there because of its port. Especially in the northern part of the city, from the Hankyu line, there are many buildings with a blend of Japanese and Western architectural styles, creating a very serene townscape.
    I recommend "Venus Bridge"
Located on a hill about a 30-minute walk from Sannomiya Station or a 25-minute walk from Motomachi Station, it offers a panoramic view of the city and port of Kobe. You can also see the city of Kobe on the way to the bridge. It is also a nice little hiking trip.
