So I’ve been putting on my detective hat and I google a lot of things you ask and I don’t share too often BUT… I want to share this one, I googled Caesar’s coins from the Biblical period and I found pictures of them. Fun fact, they sell them on eBay! Your curiosity has passed on to me. I’m starting to read the Bible differently. THANK YOU!
Oh this is awesome! Being curious about what some others would glance over, or what I used to just read through to read through, and all of a sudden I was experiencing God and the Bible in a fresh way - so that's how I want to share with others. I'm that person too. And even from your comment here, I went and searched those coins again hahahaha. SO AMAZING! 🙌🏼
My thought when reading the Parable of the wedding feast; I believe servants are disciples trying to reach the lost. The one not wearing wedding clothes was rebellious and indifferent and disrespectful of the king. He was only interested in a free meal. Bound and cast into darkness is akin to separation from God.
You really opened my eyes to the parable of the wedding banquet. Thank you. It really does help slowing down and going verse by verse and getting curious.

You can almost picture the Pharisees in a huddle, elbowing each other saying "we'll get Him on this one!" And then Jesus stumps them - again! It's like Elf when the imposter Santa says "why Happy Birthday of course!" (If you know, you know). Ha ha. Jesus will always triumph! For the battle belongs to the Lord. ❤
Wow yes Amen!! I had just read through Mathew when I found you on RUclips. I believe it’s God’s timing and I’m so amazed thank you for obeying God’s timing. Your study has helped me go deeper & answer many of my questions. Also today God personally spoke to me in Verse 30 the answer Jesus gave the Sadducees also gave me an answers as a newly Widowed. Hearing it from Jesus was closure for me. I know I’ve read it somewhere else but to read it from Jesus words & it still had such gentleness healed me. Thank you Lord & thank you Sister 🥲🥰
This has really helped me to just slow down and really think about the words I am reading and yes, put myself in that place and time and take breaks to really think about the meaning.

I searched the difference between the kingdom of God versus the kingdom of Heaven. I was thinking maybe the kingdom of God is present and the kingdom of Heaven is future. Some believe they are the same and some believe they are different. Matthew 19:23-24 seems to use them interchangeably. What is your understanding?
The Sadducees only read the Torah (ie. five first books of bible) they did not follow the writings of the prophets or the wisdom writings) My understanding is that they died out after the destruction of the Temple.
