Army’s got a different mission that the marines. Marines have to be much lighter, faster and more self sufficient hence the individual kit upgrades. They won’t have the same support the army will in a near peer conflict.
Germany was my first duty station in 2017-2019. I didn’t appreciate the values training as a private because I thought everything was stupid. Then I realized what stupid training was once I got to Carson 🙄🙄 Miss those days in Europe.

The IHPS is dogshit. The older ACH offers better protection. The army should have simply done what everyone else did and bought ops cores or something similar. Would've saved money, and given soldiers almost just as much protection at a much lighter weight and far better modularability
@@razielnelson1466 Ops Core are overhyped trash at protection aswell. Galvion is getting all the orders now, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland and Canda. However Galvion uses proper ARC rails on both high and low cut and not that IHPS weirdness.

we just did recently, you can see some guys in the video rocking the new ACH and new IOTV.
You get new shit when you deploy. Lot of these units not deploying so there not getting deployment kit.
They already are with the introductions of the IHPS, MSV, and XM7.
