"That day two things happened that place was found and he was born...that day two things happened that place was gone and so was he." Then there are the words of his mom: "no one will have the opportunity to carry his urn, as he will walk to his own death on his own terms." Also, the first quote of his mom from both films "when you die you have to be to wealthiest most powerful man in the word" linked to "The sea glitters because it is filled with gold" "I will bring you all the gold in the world." This boys wanting to fulfil his mom's wishes to some degree never grew up and remained a boy, which makes the final scene in the water when he dies so much more. There is a clip at that part that shows the boy Rocky holding reaching out and grabbing his mothers hand finally reuniting with her." The symbolism there is dripping. In regards to Chapter 3 I think they set it up all in the post credit scene. There was a time skip of 3 years, that is when I believe the story will take place. Chapter 1 was the rise, Chapter 2 was the fall, and Chapter 3 will be him at the peak. Fantastic Series either way even if Rocky isn't dead (as this is just my theory), just makes more sense to me for him to have died (also Indian Cinema Formula says his love died so he has to die).

Climax according to me is a good one. It’s not clear whether he died or not director want us to believe he died and if he doesn’t have good storyline then he wouldn’t have give the impressions of chapter 3. His character has gone to extreme so that end would have been like this only. No individual can fight the whole state machinery and institutions. According to me you guys are overthinking about the climax. In the end what he was doing is illegal so ending should be like this only. Suggestion for next movie reaction from my side is Pushpa Part 1 or RRR( Rise Roar Revolt).
