This Passacaglia is for Johan Halvorsen based on themes by George Frideric Handel
The passacaglia is a musical form that originated in early seventeenth-century Spain and is still used today by composers. It is usually of a serious character and is often, but not always, based on a bass-ostinato and written in triple metre. Wikipedia

I’ve learned the traditional passacaglia version and I’m hooked. I play it every night. But after hearing your version, I’m blown away. I’ve listened to it 100 times and would love to see it in sheet music as well Also love the way you smile and how much you love what you are doing. Tremendous performance and the guitar adds a whole extra dimension. Thank you for sharing. That was my favorite all time piano pieces. Made my heart sing

The name is « PASSACAGLIA » of G.F HAENDEL. (1685-1759)
He was born in Germany and lived in England.
There are multiple personal interpretations of this beautiful piece of music.
The one I prefer is (Piano Solo). : by « Wave et Jamuna ». I found it on UTube.
But many others are very good too, with orchestras or cellos for example.

Handel was German-born British Baroque Composer. Among the best !
