You have been a inspiration to both of us. We took a 2 week trip to the Southwest in 2022 and will be taking a 45 day trip this year. The beauty of the West is awe-inspiring. Surprised you have never posted a trip to great Basin National Park. Really Really looking forward to getting back out your way this year. Continue the good work

Oooh! 45 days is a lot of days to see some awesome things. Would love to know what you have lined up on the itinerary. As for Great Basin... just haven't been yet. Would love to go though! 😄

I haven’t made it back to Chaco since I started filming and I really want to. I especially want to camp there. Thanks for the review of these great campgrounds!

We have been waiting for your Chaco videos for a long time! 😉. I hope to make it back up to that area this year.

I f'n love your videos! You might as well start a travel agency!! ( though I did miss slim this time out)....
As far as inspiring folks goes .....
Between Cactus Atlas and Kenny of all trades....I finally settled on my plan. A surplus military humvee with a custom camper built on it, a 25 ft gooseneck flat bed to haul it on ( I'm an east coast dweller) and my turbo diesel dually to tow it all!!
Drive out, drop truck and trailer at rv storage place, and head out in the humvee!!! I can't wait!!! Your channel convinced me to drop the coin, and go to these amazing places you folks showcase! I'm about a year out , but counting down the days!!! THANK YOU BOTH, (AND SLIM) AND HOPEFULLY ONE DAY OUR PATHS MIGHT CROSS.....I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT THERE!!!!!!

Chaco is indeed an experience that will blow your mind. I think the one main thing I'd tell others is that don't even try to take a sedan there. The washboarded dirt road is one of the worst I've ever been on and nearly rattled out all my teeth.

Yeah, the road has a reputation for not being the greatest. 😅

The road keeps the park from being overrun by tourists.

Big Bend. You buy gas in Marathon then drive for an hour to get to the edge of the park. Then another hour at lower speeds to get to the campgrounds. Absolutely worth it. Plan 6 months to a year ahead. It may be booked up.
