It’s 80 years ago now since it all happened for real, but watching the pictures and listening to the news reporter made it feel so real, as if it were all happening right now in 2019

And Poland waited, and waited, and waited, and no one ever came. The Poles were probably starting to realize they had been used by the allies by that time but that's not all, the end of the war was much worse thanks to the deal Churchill and Stalin had made called the Percentages Agreement SO, if we count the assassination of president Kaczynski at Gibraltar, the British government betrayed the Polish people three times during that war, a record!
