Hi Toby! Would love a season 5 end game video, complete with end game load out suggestions, storm information, any details that make season 5’s end game. I make it my mission in every game first of all land a Hot Drop / High Loot Area (the name Of the POI is in gold) and shoot the 4/5 drones down getting gold/purple guns from them. I then make it my Mission to go to every loot drop or nearby hot drop/ legendary loot area whose name are highlighted in gold. It’s a fun mission and I’ve made sure I have good loot. 👌 be confident and take every fight you can. It’s the only way you’ll improve.
Great tips as always! I’ve recently gone back to build mode over the past 3 weeks and having a lot of fun trying to improve my mechanics. Would love to watch a series of you learning and training builds. Might also be a opportunity for new viewers on the channel!
I find myself getting into a lot of bad positioning by the end circles. I really need to get better at thinking about where I'm going I think. Also when it's down to 3/4 players it's really easy to get sucked into a fight and then the third party comes and finishes me off.
I struggle with snipers in end game. My aim is a little bad at long distance without sitting still so i stick to mid range weapons and moving a lot but still get sniped.
Hello Mr Toby!! I´ve been recently watching your videos and I feel that I´ve improve a lot, I´m currently at Elite and it´s been so helpful, thank you for the content!!
never thought of slow side of zone, i always just thought "oh yeah i'll keep deadside in mind" but never thought that if i'm held i could just rotate still out of zone but zone won't be as much of a hazard because i'm rotating through slow zone. thank you for this tip, really handy and will keep it in mind
I feel like you have to play 3 separate matches with 3 different loadouts in 1 game. But the key is you have to get lucky enough to reset between each match. This new update makes it a little better at least.
I have been looking everywhere for a tips and tricks for chapter 5 on end game, I think the main thing I struggle with is getting lobby focused. It feels like everyone just shoots the walls off my bunkers and leaves me in the open. I am a builds player but am trying to get earnings in zero build tournaments so I need some help. Could you make a video on what to do in those games where it’s so packed that you can’t even peak to see your surroundings? It would help a lot (sorry about the long message)
I find myself wanting to finish players off if I do some initial damage, but I need to start playing it safe and remember it's more important to avoid damage at all costs in the end game.
I get this way too. If you opt into a fight with 8 people left its dangerous even if you have an advantage, if you take 30 damage that can make a difference in the last fight. I try to carry 3 big pots into endgame but the more fights i take the more I end up using them up before the last fight.
I always die because there is always 4 people around me then I die while I fight I think I just hide until the last person is there is that a bad idea for next time I play?
I have funky shotgun aim and when I try to put my crossair on someone I'm already killed could I please have some tips?...And some good controller setttings if you have some
really great video helps me recognize what wins me games but, i keep dying in the early game often is there tips you can give for surviving till the end game, like what i could look out for when walking around and how i should get around and should i just run if someone gets the jump on me stuff like that. thank you for the video
Not really. It's keeping people out of my "bubble" pretty much zero risk and letting people know it's my space - don't come over here. If I just hide and let people come over to my great spot - I take a 50/50 fight, lose a bunch of health and then get third partied. Being passive in the end game is not good because you let enemies get into your territory. Smart aggression pays big. Also people see a weak target out in the open and they think "hey, easy kill" and start focusing them too. This video was also made in a non-sniper meta with poor accuracy weapons.
Most times I die to rats and campers. There are some absolutely creative spots people find, and win with 0 gunfighting skill, but I respect their understanding of the map.
My problem with end game is having a appropriate amount of aggression. I am often too aggressive pushing people I shouldn't or giving up positioning for a kill, and end up fighting multiple people at once. Then I over correct next game and play too passive: not pushing when I should or playing stealth.
Or I decided to do something dumb just to see if it will work and then spend the end game dealing with consequences...FYI, using flintknocks to yeet three people off of mountains after they chased you through rift-to-gos is really fun, but end games with 2 flintknocks, 3 empty slots and a 4 bullets do not end well.
We all do those things.. however this season is very open with low amounts of health.. I usually get 60 to 100 crown wins. But this season its like 10 so far.. This is the most challenging season for me. But I love it because I cans see people now to shoot them. This question may help you.. but what platform are you running? Pc console switch or phone?
For me the excessive portarifts laying around everywhere. Good position is difficult to work for. Having some Swooper being able to instantly be anywhere they want in endgame is obnoxious
Hey Toby! Thanks to your combat and endgame tips, I went from getting 5 wins in 20 days to getting 7 wins in 3 days! Lots of love❤, you are destined for millions of subs my guy🎉❤.
I gotta work on aim and movement. which I been practicing using a few of the training maps I have seen yourself using, and it has helped out heaps, still heaps of room for improvement
Usually average around 2nd-35th on Cold Drops and 50th-80th on hot drops. Mostly due to the fact that there's people everywhere, there's like 9 people if not more fighting over one building. Furthermore towards endgame as chests become more scarce, so too do good guns. Meaning that 9/10 I'm running into endgame with green guns and maybe 1 portable Rift
I'm a noob with fortnite, barely played in hs, but an excellent halo player. Within 3 matches of watching this I got #1! My loadout was rare ambush smg, purple riot shield, shield emps, grappling hook, shields and health. I stayed in the the Void till the last second while player 2 ran out in the open. I ran towards him and got the jump on him w the smg, did some damage and then lunged at his w the grapple and then riot shield. While he reloaded I chucked a shield emp and then put him down w the riot shield. The best part was that I was Christopher Nolan Batman, bro coulda yelled "ITS DA BAT" and last thing he ever saw was batman lunging at him w the grapple and beatin his ass 😭😭😭 ty for this it was as satisfying as it was hilarious
for me I keep being @ 2nd or third place think it can be bcuz I don't always have a strong weapon type. ps my aim needs abit work but I'm not horrible @it. thanks
When you're trying to find other players, or if you don't have the best location/high ground, definitely play it safe. Everyone else is looking for you, too.
Yes it's usually not worth griefing unless you are in a very safe position or the player you are shooting at is going to be a big problem for you in the future (i.e they look like a good player, or they are in a spot that is going to make the game hard for you).
Hey Toby! Thank you so much! I have got 4 victory royals since yesterday following your suggestions. Before yesterday, I got 4 during the whole season! I was finishing in last 10 but was not able to finish!
How do you counter when a team is aggressive and pushes you? Like if you're in a duo's match. What's the play? If anyone else has insight on this, let me know please. Thanks!! 😊
I find my self playing too defensively even When I have a clear advantage and end up taking too long to the point where I end up losing my advantage to storm changing or something. Chapter 5 season 1 storm
I think at 12:36 u shoulda shot the guy on the right to damage him. Then let those two continue to damage ea other. I think it is a good idea to let two players damage ea other as much as possible then it is easier to kill the survivor.
end game always goes the same, 3 people camping for 10 minutes straight not making any sound until someone loses their patience. Usually you gotta have either a heavy sniper or a silenced sniper preferably. Any time i stick my head out for one second in the late stage of the game, i get the classic one tap. Overall, interesting experience. I started playing fortnite straight into the OG season so i have no terms of comparison of how it was before.
My 1 on 1 fighting against the better players is my issue. I’m still not very good at constant movement/jumping while aiming and shooting. So most times I end up just standing and shooting in the hope my weapon hits for more damage. I’ve a few victories, and can get to end game on a pretty consistent basis, but end up losing because of that 1v1 issue
Right u wanna do some damage with ar or a mid range weapon b4 u get close for a shotty shot movement is key use practice lobby to get better. But don't stand still in a gun fight easy target
@@brianhodge5106 thanks. Started getting a bit better with ar from further out. My loadout used to be an issue as I’d prioritise 3 or 4 weapons. I’m now getting comfortable with ar and drum. I use ar further out, grapple in and drum when close. Improving, but a long way to go!
I have troubles in endgame when i have to rotate but enemies are nearby. I dont know what to do, sincerely. I have to wait to my opponent starts his rotation or what? 😵💫

One thing you forgot to mention: Have excellent aim 🤣 Also be fluent with movement. Those are the 2 things I personally struggle with. My aim is dog water and I almost always stiff up when I’m surprised and I panic. I’d be the guy rifting in the end game and just floating instead of diving 🤣 Distance shooting is a weakness and in 1v1’s people always get me by sliding and jumping all over the place. I spend too much time aiming and waiting until I get a good enough shot. Meanwhile they’ve ripped off 4 shots and 150 health on me. It’s frustrating but also a realization that I need to get better. Much better.

For me its getting 3rd,4th partied and the rats hiding in a corner also just never finding good loot
The 4th party that shows up after you win a 1v1v1 and are trying to heal in the broken husk of a house has to be the worst feeling to die to.
I make it my mission in every game first of all land a Hot Drop / High Loot Area (the name Of the POI is in gold) and shoot the 4/5 drones down getting gold/purple guns from them.

Most of your loot will usually come from eliminating other players

I knew about the deadside and naturally try to rotate from there - but I never thought about fast/slow side. 🤔 Notes taken ✍️😁

Question, does the XP you get from hoverboards and quad bikes actually count to your XP?
yes Including XP from custom maps
I don't think a hover board is going to give you 250,000 xp for a triple backflip
No hoverboard "score" does not mean XP. The XP you gain will show as XP. Also max creative map XP per day is 400k
you either carry 4 rifts or you die. thats the meta.

So you have a 10 kd?
same ive been playing solo duo and i get 6-10 kills per game then die late game
Kills has no correlation with placement, if you're too aggressive, you'll get a high kill game but usually won't win
Depending on what lobbies you get. If you are of higher level and experience and 10+ kd puts you up with the top 1%.
Regardless of kd end game is a different beast.

I always get piched when I'm killing someone
You are so late with these videos like my dad with the milk😅
Bruh...I know. Still waiting.

A very good aim routine for improving every type of aim:

@@TobyWanShinobi Thank you. I’m just coming across your channel and already watched 4 videos. I appreciate the feedback and so quickly. I’m definitely using your support a creator code. Thank you again and this probably won’t be the last time I hit you up. I’ll hopefully get around to being one of your pupils you were talking about. 🙏🏾
