Great journey. Lots of twists n turns! 🙂 I appreciate you sharing the highs and lows. So very important! 😀Can't wait to see what is to come in your journey. Thank you, Leila.
This goes to show you cant really start getting "ahead" until 60k+. Of course thats pre 2020 numbers. Now its probably closer to 75k. I noticed the same thing around 60k I was able to do more than just work to pay bills...
Yeah seriously!! With high amounts of debt though I think $60K to $75K is still tough these days, especially if you're living on your own. I say $90K to $100K is ideal 😬
I absolutely love this, salary transparency vids are some of my faves 💗I recently realized that I have almost tripled my income since my first "real job" out of university and I think a lot of that is because of people like you talking so openly about their income. Thank you for sharing!!
Hey Leila! This is super relatable to me. College ultimately helped me, but I didn’t know what I was doing, and I’m just thankful I didn’t make worse decisions 😂 I think in 2024 with my 401k match and bonus (paid in March 2025) I’ll end up around $175k for all-in compensation. Feels totally insane, since my first job at 16 was at Auntie Anne’s for 5.50/hr, and I didn’t make much of an increase until after getting my MBA at 30. It’s been a ride but we just keep making better decisions and paying it forward!
Thank you! Salesforce offers 'Trailhead' where you can learn Salesforce for free. I started with that but ultimately joined the Talent Stacker program. I have several videos talking about Salesforce!
Just turned 31 and just permanently immigrated to the USA with my MBA after marrying an 'American chick'. I'm probably a decade behind in terms of earnings but ready to accumulate more over the next 10-20 years, thank you for your great content !

If you ever want to look up what you made for each year, pull your Social Security document. It’ll show you what you got paid each year.
Mine are all incorrect 🙃 lol
Since I was a "Fellow" and not an employee while at the CDC it's reported differently
💕💕💕 Happy Birthday Month!!!! All-in-all you have done marvelously!
Because of Lelia's advice I just finished my credit card debts 😁
Thank you for sharing 😊❤😊
