Right I made this sort of on accident in the middle of my exams so it's a bit all over the place, but I've had the urge to draw Heizou for absolutely ages (my favourite littol boy) so lo and behold

Poor heizou he’s probably seen a lot I mean reading his back story really hits you hard even though it’s not as bad as most it’s really sad because heizou is more normal from all we now he’s just a human detective

bro as someone who absolutely loves him, i cry every time i hear anything regarding his story- he deserves so much better, and literally everyone sees him as that one sus dude- the devs giving him the most suggestive birthday art yet doesnt help his case-

See I agree with you....but I say we can have and enjoy both. His sus voice lines are just as core as any other part of his character imo
Source: a Heizou main that good hooked from that freaking "Oh, it's all coming out now~" line, did some digging into his story, cried, and mains him after spending forever gathering beetles and building him up
Heizou expressions hurts my eyes like a grain of sand, music fits perfect and now strongly linked with him in my mind, like string on the desk of case that I've never will be able to solve completely. Thank you, I think that Heizou can coping with his trauma and memories in such cases as in event with alike state of mind. He just tells himself that can't let himself forget. And Heizou see that he's grieving, but remembering his friend is more important. In other words-- there's always something on his mind, he used to do his work, but not deal with his feelings.

Can't believe I found this today but gosh I loveee heizou, and his backstory even if its jot as crazy as others well other characters with stories worse than this were not either human or had a very different environment growing up... heizou was just a normal human and his backstory is tragic enough :( I LOVE HIM

Ironically his passive talent "pre-existing guilt" most likely comes from trauma like this, most likely from his friend,the dead friend obviously tho💀 but it lines up as i decrease stamina cost, something likely developed from trauma like this
