Cheering for t1 has to be the most basic and soulless thing u can do rn. Jdg or geng winning worlds is way more hype, jdg having exceeded all expectations this year and geng being basically GRF's second chance after the dissapointing collapse. Id argue if t1 kept up that domination through summer aswell, it would be a nice storyline to smash worlds aswell.
Elder fight at 16:10 was partially won by T1 because Gala did 800 dmg in the entire fight as full build kai'sa, nicely done by Faker
and because Zeus actually did a ton in that fight after being useless for practically the entire game. All of T1 did great though to pull that miracle out of their butts.

I love hopw everyone forgot all about Guma. I was watching with friends, and just because Zeus was behind they gave up, forgetting the player who gave T1 their 20-0 season. I knew he was gonna carry the game, because he is that good. Just because he had an off season due to change in the meta, everyone started overlooking him, and now he has the highest kda in worlds xD
RNG were outclassed in every single position. There was no saving grace. Zeus smashed Breathe every game even when camped (dealing almost 2x his damage), Oner was everywhere, Faker completely made Xiaohu invisible and the botlane was completely one sided. Gala was never a threat in any game.

That's the difference between zeus jayce and western jayces. Any western team jayce would be struggling to complete muramana stuck on double long sword tear + eclipse.

I dont recall Dom giving t1 any break for RNG playing at an advantageous situation. At home with no proper gears with the ping that they are used to without proper refs. RNG got shitted on this worlds. Plain and simple.

I mean I know each person can have different opinions about the game and we don’t all have to agree on every point, but many of your interpretations(?) are complete opposite of mine.
Like.. for me the baron , cloud soul trade in game2, is not “still okay for RNG” the baron belongs to RNG, giving it up makes no sense to me, it only seems like a big mistake to group as all five for drag. It shouldn’t be a question of whether RNG is still okay, the more important part is that T1 just became “okay”, when they haven’t been okay before that point.
And also the fight following right after the baron, doesn’t seem like a very disadvantageous fight for T1, especially when they walked down to the blue region sieging on that narrow entrance with Xayah. RNG can’t enter that place at all its not just because RNG “overforced” it. (Not retrospective, this is how I felt as I was watching live)
And the reason the elder fight wasnt the end of the game, I think, is not because breathe got that double kill. But because the minion wave is so far behind, almost at T1 tier 2 mid turret. Cant end with that wave.
And the xiaohu tier 2 turret for death part. As you say, “its not the end of the world” yes. But xayah got that kill. That is actually not insignificant. I would say the sylas really played a big part in the turn around in game2. With not only that death but also the one at blue that ended the game.
Oh and I believe I heard that pros think in sylas vs akali match up, sylas is slightly better off. But I guess even pros can disagree among themselves on that matter

I do think T1 can take down JDG. It seems like a lot of JDG's power is in 369, and Zeus is really good at playing weak side. It may go to five games but I think t1 can come out on top and make it to finals.

In a vacuum that match up is fine which is what he was referring too. The problem was the jungle matchup and the 2v2 was dogshit for Jayce that picking it there would be suicide for their early mid game

ive been watching the rng t1 rivalry from its beginning and i love both faker and xiahou but rng has a speical place for me. Nonetheless i believe that xiahou and ming the two veterans didnt play well and gala to say the least, tried his best. wei and breathe had a rly good series. As for t1 props to them guma, faker and keria stepped up this series. Perhaps next year we can see this rivalry repeat itself and who knows who will win. Best of love to both teams, mightve been a short one but sure was entertaining to watch.

It feels like most people tend to forget that Zeus is still a freaking rookie, yet he's already considered the best toplaner in the world, with only 369 on the same level. That's something that only Faker did back in his rookie season (though Faker's season is probably better, since he dominated everyone to be the best player).
It's definitely going to be interesting. From everything I've heard, 369 has more or less "carried" JDG as in everything's been played around him. He's usually strong side constantly, where as Zeus has played both. I feel like T1 will still win, but the match is going to be interesting.

Game 1: I don't know if I'd agree with Renekton being an ok answer to Camille outside of the rest of the team comp. Renekton is on a hard timer for relevancy but especially so VS Camille. Camilles only limited VS Renekton until she finishes Divine Sunderer, so you play to not die until then. Running biscuits, Corrupting pot and bone plating with ignite/tp and poke with W + passive shield and you really can't die barring a huge fuckup. Renekton loses the 1v1 hard after DS, he's only got a short window to win the MU and its up to Camille to let him do so. Camille E into Renekton E prioritizes Camille's and stops second E from Renekton so theres that as well. Its a bit nuanced till 6, but overall Camille is at advantage health wise VS Renekton until 6 and for a short window Renekton can do something and maybe snowball around his level 6 window. After DS, Camille wins for the rest of the game and its not even that close if they are even +/- 10%.
Renekton shouldn't be picked at all in competitive in his current state, he's hard balanced around his W and everything that made him uniquely strong in lane was given to other champions and nerfed hard on him (Q health sustain in particular), theres only 3 picks I would play him into and Aatrox is the only one being picked which he eventually loses to. Pick Riven or Darius instead, they do 90% of Renekton does but are better throughout 80% of the game state than Renekton and are actually reliable/flexible, aren't on a timer and have significantly higher power ceilings... Riven even more so if you can pilot her.
Twisted Fate would have been a good answer vs Akali in lane and the setup into other lanes with camille ulti+tf gold card / ashe arrows giving a lot more map utility would have been nearly unanswerable with RNG's composition, but maybe they wanted the damage from Viktor? I don't know, Viktor pick seems pretty awful it's really bad into Akali and didn't fit the team comp. Viktor loses post 6 and HAS to be the aggressor for all of lane phase with no real gank setup, so he's reliant on poking her out which won't happen vs dorans + second wind + Revitalize. Maybe I missed something but this was a real blunder from my perspective it added no value.
Alternatively Chogath would have been pretty strong here, he would be vs into a heavy melee team comp with great team setup (camille ulti, arrow, heimer ulti stun) and is pretty good at cleaning waves and roaming as a mid and gives real setup into akali if graves wants to roam. Silence also incredibly powerful into that many melee's and a true damage nuke is always good.
