Honestly because I use the quick sampler a lot and I don't start a track thinking about the key I'm going to make it in .. I may start in one key but end up resampling a melody and then its in another key etc. so I just leave it alone
You've basically described 90% of FL Studio's user base which has had these features since the very beginning. Apple/Logic team simply copied those FL features and implemented them decades later when Logic 10.5 came out back in 2020
