Because it's only good for going from outpost to outpost where pads are available. if you have to unload and reload the vehicle in the field then eventually you'll still have to fight the elevator.
That's nice. If you are staying on planet mining for example, just fly around with the cargo plataform lowered all the time. Never retract it and you will be fine with vehicles too. But if you need to QT do as he show on this video. GG
@@MadrealmMatt Just keep the cargo plataform lowered all time and never retract it if you are staying on the same planet and you will not lose your ROC.
nice trick ! the problem is how do you reload the ROC whilst mining? What I used to do was to actually drive the ROC in front first and to the side a bit so you can walk out. I found doing this .. whilst not perfect was far more reliable and safe than going in backwards. I earnt myself a Cutlass so this is all irrelevant to me now.
I tried a cutty. The cargo ramp is too delicate to be used as a roc ramp. A few trips in, and out, and the door breaks, and won't move. Rather use a max, or msr.
I have a better solution. Go to cargo decks, and rent a Cuttlas Black. And suddenly, all your vehicle loading problems are gone. No matter if you at an outpost, or in the middle of nowhere.
OF COURSE! why didn't i think of that.... thx for the tip!

Yup! Great tip!
Super cool thanks! Love to use this tip for the ROC but it won’t help when I am out in the field.
I'm experimenting with how to do this in the field, I'll update as soon as I can.
