Love how the AJ pages came together. I love the rabbit holes you went down in the process. It’s great you show us your process and not cut it out. Love the JJ LO off Miss V. Quotey McQuote isn’t a lame name! Matty & I use similar naming: Stinky McStinkerson is a fav of ours hahaha
I have 5 journals going, 6 if you count my wipe off journal, which will be made into a "real" journal later. I love to go back and look through mine as I work in them, make notes about what I like and what I don't. It can't all be perfect. Soon I will be adding a real art journal for just painting and sketching. Love watching your journaling.
A double pager! It's my lucky day. I could tell something was a bit off on the first layout when you went for a giant *green* image.... You asked how many journals we have going. I counted only m eight right now, but I do have some new ones standing by in case I finish one. Gorgeous pages! I am loving the marathon! 💞
I really enjoyed this voice over and also the page. Thank you so very much for the Inkie June Marathon. I have looked forward to your video each day and appreciate it especially when everything in our lives (and the world) feels so unusual. You have such a talent and to share that with us is so special. Sending love to you Adele and your sweet little family.
I love the Marathon!! I do have a dilemma tho.. these show up for my time zone at 3pm & I usually watch them at 7AM the next day... so seeing it on my feed makes me want to watch it right away but i make myself wait... mostly. Lol
i have four journals plus a use it up journal on the go at the moment. I like having a variety of sizes and substrates to work on, plus I get impatient waiting for things to dry! Plus, like you, I end up using the same supplies across my different journals. If I'm going to have to clean a brush or a stencil anyway, might as well make it count! And I like Ranger's Archival black ink. It's my go to for stamping on top of mixed media.
Archival Ink by Ranger and Jane Davenport squid ink are my favorites. Both are permanent and stand up to a lot of layering. I use Staz On too when stamping on something more tricky.
Love both your pages, Adele. I have five journals on the go at the moment. Three store bought and two that I made myself. Love beeing able to switch between different sizes of journals. Keeps my mojo running.
For art journaling I like to use the Black Soot Distress Oxide ink from Tim Holtz. Its a mix of pigment and dye inks so the pad stays juicy. It is water reactive but I found if you heat set it before moving on to a wet medium its usually ok. Stamps great.
I currently have 6 journals going. I also recently bought a couple new ones, including the new-ish Dina Wakley Blue journal... it's been so hard to not start using them yet. I'm TRYING to be good, but I don't think I'll be able to hold out much longer. Lol!!
My husband and son keep asking why I’m giggling and it’s from your sweet commentary about your process. I think it’s because I completely relate! Oh and I highly recommend Archival Ink by Ranger, easy to buy reinkers for the ink pad too. Black is my go to color of course. I haven’t tried putting an element sideways on my pages but I’m still learning to move past just making fun backgrounds. And I also relate to having multiple journals at one time. I even made a journal out of junk mail (and an amazon bubble mailer as the cover!) to be my mop up journal but now I seem to be using it as a play journal instead. Do you have a favorite way to print your pictures? I tried to print with an online service once and it seemed like the were off center or the heads were cut off.
So sweet! Love both layouts... I still have some pages I need to do for my daughter’s baby/ toddler album. Can’t wait to see more girl pages! I do art journal, PL and 12x12. 🌷
Always love catching your videos, especially recently being I'm struggling with some mental health issues. You always bring so much fun to your videos and I love watching your process. Even on your clunky days youre still very inspiring. I also have a few journals going at the moment, I believe 6 or 7 myself. Many blessings to you and your family!
LOL, I have one journal, it's an omni journal, I paint in it, I stick stuff in it and I memory keep in it (of course, that doesn't incluse my planner!)
Enjoyed watching your process with the first layout! My fave is the second one though. I only have one journal going although I would really like to make a junk journal but I’m not sure where to start and hoping you release a class soon!
Loving the Inkie Marathon as lots of extra inspiration this month!!! Both journal spreads are fab, but my fave was Violet (of course), can I ask which collection the beautiful floral paper you used was from? xxx
My favorite black stamp pad is Tsukineko VersaFine Clair, Nocturne. 🖤 I still use Ranger Archival, as I have quite a bit left to use up, and it’s been my first choice for a long time. But then I discovered Clair. I can’t imagine anyone coming up with something better to make me end my love affair with Nocturne.
Love the video and totally understand the struggle. I have a question for you and for all the people doing art journals do you like to come back and see the pages you have done? Or you just create for the love of it and then put it away and don't look at it again?

My favourite black ink for stamping is Versafine Onix Black, it”scpermanent... very good ink!
Just lovely!!! Ha! I printed those exact printables on sticker paper as well! You must have shown that in the reveal video xo
Violet is PRECIOUS!! Thanks for sharing your pages! - Kari

my favourite black ink pad is actually grey. staz on cloudy sky xxx
Jane Davenport Squid Ink are my favourite ink pads.
Great collage spread. I LOVE that heart! And your quote page opposite your daughter’s photo is gorgeous and a great quote. Cute pic too. 😀
You may like the Archival mini pads from Ranger. Archival is waterproof and reinkers are usually available. Hopefully you can get them in AUS.
I love your eclectic style!

I use stays on ink for permanent ink and Memento tuxedo black when I'm using alcohol ink.
You are such a delight x
Versafine and/or Archival inks are both great x

Stamp pads: Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black!
This journal is fabulous!! I love the size- have you done a video of you making it by any chance?

You are not alone. I think we are all having mental health issues through out this pandemic.
Love this quote xx
Violet is stunning! Great layout. Btw, I use Rangers Archival black ink and find it works well in mixed media.
I have 2 going, plus 1 use it up. Considering starting a 4th.

Love your curly font

Bellissimo video complimenti
I have a few more then that going on at this time!!!!!
I currently have 2 "on the go" right now. That's all I can handle.

LOVE LOVE LOVE 🤗💕
Anything sideways goes towards the spine of the journal - I often write sideways if I've put a lot of ephemera on the page
Versafine is the best.
