If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

Man, Zato being so rare to see is a shame due to how beautifully animated he is. I dare say he's the best looking character in the game in terms of visuals. Okay, Eddie is the best looking character in the game, but you get my point.

Its getting harder everyday man. Ive been training Open Park w/ my Zato lately and even though I can hold my own against Level 10+ players, I still gotta worry that the system mechanics can work against me everytime...Plus we die after 1 or 2 combo strings smh.💯. My rank dropped from 10 to 7 once he got nerfed. Im back at 9, but still...these nerfs😮💨

zato being so nerfed is frustrating because the system mechanics alone severely nerfed him. i know people hate vortex stuff but if happy chaos is respectably strong still then i don't think people would mind zato being around his level.
the character still has shades of what made him strong before but losing to burst is a massive weakness
At first I assumed they thought that BWA would do too much for an already strong character. Unfortunately while BWA can be nice the changes to burst and Eddy gague stack up to Zato having no real answer to defensive system mechanics with a way to preserve Eddy. But when 3.5 came and not a single one of his nerfs or shadow nerfs were reverted and he got an invite he’ll QoL change I feel like it was deliberate

@@ram_apologistwhen I started the game he was the character I wanted to play the most. It was post nerf. Still breaks my heart. He was too hard for too little reward. Maybe someday I’ll try to pick him up again

Yeah feels like older gear games where Eddie can be kinda useless in neutral in some matchups, just gets swatted by yoyo toss for free through drills, and then you are just boxing her with worse buttons that have worse reward, and once she hits you there is very little means at escaping her looping 50 50s

He will 100%, arcsys has acknowledged he is weak and needs change
To be honest, Zato's performance in this footage is better. It's too difficult to wield all commands in time, whereas Bridget's commands are ranged and easy.
Zato is literally and figuratively a shell of his former self
Is Zato actually unplayable or just mid? Most of these games still seemed pretty close all around, and Tights was definitely dominating at times. Personally, I'm not even good enough for tiers to even matter, so I'm genuinely unsure.
Gobou said that they think Zato is quite unreasonable this patch - meaning, the character's weaknesses go past the limits of acceptability. So, as much as I refuse to downplay Zato, he's weak and not recommended for competitive (top level) play... I'm hoping that Zato gets a new move in the June patch, and they revert the Eddie gauge back - or close to its original 3.5 seconds - Zato players that stuck with the character will be so hardened for playing through these nerfs for all these past months, that buffs like that would really help the character shine and become popular once again.
His advantage state is still strong, but the main problem is that most of the game's universal mechanics are to his detriment, breaking through his pressure is easier than ever, and he's punished harder than he used to be for losing Eddie. He's got a couple notable advantages, but they're far too conditional compared to the rest of the cast.
Every character can be used but there are a couple that are just so far behind the rest that even if they’re not bad, like Zato or Testament, they’re just outclassed entirely and not viable

This is a bad example because it is a really bad match up for zato. The truth is even the worst character in this game is closer in strength to the rest of the pack than in older games. Not saying he can win tournaments but he has plenty of 5-5 match ups, a bunch of 6-4s, and arguably some 7-3s. As a side char perfectly good

All I will say is when pot or anji was bottom tier, there was not this level of bitching. The zato main propaganda is OP to an unseen degree. Not saying he isn't the worst, but when other chars have been the worst no one cared as much
@@mattsheehan3604as a zato main I kinda agree. I obviously want some buffs anything really, but anytime i see zato being played all the comments are "buff zato". I've never seen a cry for a character to get buffed quite like this.
