ALSO THIS CHAR NEEDS A ROLL CATCHER
Fr he needs some kind of roll catch, and nobody should be able to pop revenge when you’re flipping them it’s also very easy to dodge his heavies for no good reason imo Edit: not sure if you used this in the video or knew it alr but I think the heavy after successful bash is hyper armored
The recovery on the zone attack is low enough that you can zone the full guard of a kyoshin and still parry the punish he does. 2nd tip: when you throw someone with revenge, throw them to the front or side. Throwing them to the back puts them out of range of your attacks.
thanks for the tips but as far as i'm aware they increased the recovery timing for his zone, so you can no longer do that, but you can trade with the hyper armor follow up now
I'll just throw some a tip or two your way since that's just what I do. A lot of people will dodge after any moment the chain bash is avaliable. This normally means are a side UB people will dodge as they are expecting the bash. If you instead throw a side heavy most of the time it will catch both empty dodges and dodge attacks. Second tip that you may have known, if you believe someone is going to go for that second gb even after being countered the first time, throw a same side (Don't move guard and spam your heavy input) heavy and you'll beat the GB. 3rd thing is the dodge forward heavy. It's hard to describe and isn't as good as it was, but if you dodge forward, input heavy while switching to another side then LB will do a spin with the heavy. It catches dodge attacks depending on the character. When it comes to his Top UB after parry, you do get more damage if you go for the bash instead of the tap light but the opponent can dodge the bash. Another thing, don't throw opponents into walls. Your heavies from neutral all do the same damage with the tap included. That being said if someone is real low on stam, go for it. For feats I'd personally recommend jug over righteous deflection due to Jug giving super armor and heavy dmg reduction, but that's up to you. His dodge bash is kind of like Tiandi's light dodge. Your I frames end as soon as the bash animation begins, which means if you are trying to dodge an attack you have to use the normal frames then do the bash. The last tip I have is in regard to most all guard characters. If you know they're going to all guard then you can throw a zone into chain heavy as your hyper armor will allow you to trade through their counter. This works well against Kyoshins.
This was so good it made me want to pick up lawbringer again, despite all the frustrations i have with the state the character is in. And i did great today
In case of wanting more range, you can do side/forward throw into shove. With thar said, your back throw main pupose is only ledging as it is too far to be useful for publisher. And yes, dodge bash gets punish with a gb is you wiff like Gladiator. Yeah,its stupid considering is rather sow and only confirms a light
Just realise, on your post, i forgot to mention some little detail since you where asking for tips. Most people will parry the heavy after the light, since you don't have a light light heavy combo, the heavy behind the only option after a light opener, it's really predictable. Sadly, not like shugoki, your side dodge bash has terrible s and most of the time you will be hit by attack insted of dodge, so keep that in mind
@@subwaysol Just like conqueror. Both of them suffer some similar problem. No rollcatcher, and no s on the dodge side But at least Lb have really big punish, high dmg, big hitbox, and better feat
