Hgtv likes to make it dramatic on purpose. I dont think that drama and tension would fit with the Mr kate ultrapositive vibe. So glad they dont play into that, because it really makes them stand out.
Kirsten Eickert when they’ve made a mistake they play those comedy OOPS music and sound effects so like, even when they make a mistake and they are probably a bit frustrated they make it funny for us!!! They’re amazing
We didn’t have an exhaust fan either! But after my sister was diagnosed with brain cancer, two of our old baby sitters stepped up and got the house looked at to see if it was safe. It turns out our air was basically toxic and there was mould in the bathroom and the basement behind furniture. Which a big part of this was no exhaust fan. They completely re-did our house and got all new furniture. We are so thankful for them! This all happened one year from October. They also held a benefit hockey game win our community and raised 30 000$! They have done so much to help us. My sister just took her last chemo pill last week! Next week she will get an MRI and hopefully she beat cancer!! Thank you Mr. Kate for being a light in the darkness. Congrats on your little baby and fantastic job as always! ❤️❤️❤️
I never thought I would want to live on a bathroom, but that bathroom looks so aesthetically pleasing after the renovation, I wouldn't mind living in there.

The black just jumped out at me and brought things 'in' a bit - because of that so I felt it looked smaller than it could have done, but the couple loved it obviously which is just as it should be. I do find I tend to go against the flow a bit, I don't do it intentionally but I rarely have something because it's 'in fashion' as I rarely see the new trends. We have no TV and I don't see magazines [only at the dentist and they can be from 1984!] so new ideas tend to pass me by - but I like makeover programmes now and then. I love thrifting, upcycling and vintage so my house [and tastes] are a real mix. People say they love my house and just want to go round checking it all out, but I doubt they'd want to live with it 24/7 ! ;-]
