This is a game my family has been playing for years! We call it the paperslip game, because at the beginning, we all get 5 slips of paper and write down a person or thing - it's extra fun when someone in the room is on one of them. We then shuffle them in a bowl, and have 2 teams just like here, except round 2 and 3 are reversed; round 1 involves explaining without using any of the words on the paperslip, round 2 is miming, and in round 3 everyone knows the roster of things on the paperslips well enough to guess it from only one word. It's terribly fun and I'm glad there's an actual card game of it now!
