@@dcfootball1 ahh just noticed it. I think the reason it's not working is because he added frames in addition to the Minutes and seconds in the time stamp. he probably exported the chapters directly from davinci resolve
Thank you very much for sharing such a useful tutorial for fusion. From a certain degree of complexity, do you consider it is easier than after effects?
I wouldn’t say it’s easier per se, just different in some ways that I really like. It all depends on how your brain works. I’ve always been a fan of mind mapping for figuring out ideas and nodes are kind of akin to that. I like being able to see everything at any point where nothing gets hidden away (aside from the node groups that make up the vector graphics). I always feel like things are getting tucked away deeper and deeper when using precomps in AE. With nodes they’re always visible and I like that. One thing that AE does do better is the key framing system. I feel like Fusion has some room to improve there. It should be easier to easy ease. Also, Fusion Studio is a one time payment as a part of Resolve Studio which is way better than the subscription to Adobe.
This is an amazing tutorial. Thank you so much for this I just subbed and am planning on watch all your videos over the weekend. Would you mind sharing the prompts you use for the AI chatbot to help you find out these things on modifiers?
Sure! I don't have the specific conversations still, but I was using GPT-4 and I just kinda described what I wanted! It's a little bit of trial and error, but you can tell it about errors that you get and it tries its best to fix it.
I'm I correct that you confirm that it's better to do this in After Effects? So, if not a subscription model of Adobe, it's preferable and easy to go with AE?
Sorry for the late reply! I'd say AE is probably the better tool for the job overall from a practical standpoint, but it's worth going into as some people might be able to replace AE with Fusion. It all depends on what they're doing. 😊
hey man great video, your channel would really grow if instead of making these really long videos you could shorten them and make them max 10 mins packed with value and less chit chat

@@raiidovfx Cuz they still aren't working, 45 hours? Lol

@@raiidovfx I see, he gotta resolve that con-fusion 😆
Learned a couple of things here! Keep the videos going 🔥

Nice video but you should mess with duplicate node it's super helpful in motion graphics
Yoy are the best

Seems like using an ellipse node would have been faster than using a maskpaint? It literally starts with a circle ready to go.
That would be lovely, though in this case the mask paint nodes offers quick access to the write-on animation for the ellipse.

Hahahaha I feel so seen!
I’m super aware though. That’s an active action item to work on for next time. I do appreciate the feedback, sincerely. 😊
You can also pause the video every ten minutes and let the others enjoy a quiet tutorial.
Do it the way you want. It's YOUR channel. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
