Tarek and Christina buy a unique split-level home in Long Beach, California for 550,000 AUD with a small backyard ripe for creating a classic California-style indoor/outdoor living. Can Tarek and Christina create a backyard beauty by the beach, or could design woes push them over the edge of this split-level falls?
I personally like the backyard... The deck was done in such a way that it's easily
pulled up if the new owners choose & sod put down... or a pool put in if they can afford that...A flexible design is a smart thing 2 do.
Meanwhile, I have dogs that 'indoor/outdoor' & they'd enjoy the deck space; but mostly they look forward 2 their 2x a day walk/or dog park.
Overall, it's a wonderful house & outdoor living space 4 just about anyone--in my opinion, anyway! It certainly sold quickly.🙂

right here in michigan there are a lot of tri and quad levels. WHen they said why are their windows on the ground, I was like '' because it's a basement''
I wouldn't buy this house BECAUSE of the backyard. I have 3 dogs and they got rid of the actual "yard".

I understand their being leery about the 'windows on the ground;' clearly they've learned, as experienced flippers, not to assume. Naturally anyone knows this is an indication of a basement but what it will prove to be, once they inspect, has yet to be seen...Glad 4 them that it turned out to be, after all, a viable basement.
