Thank you! I'm adding background music for my retropie menu, and wanted to include a good selection of video game tracks. This song will make a beautiful addition!
This is the best cover of any video game music I have ever heard. Absolutely amazing! Not only do I like the arrangements and the general sound of your renditions, but also how faithful you stay to the spirit of the originals in terms of melody and rhythm. Many covers and remixes somehow miss the mark when it comes to recreating the 8-bit version's raw power and feel of urgency, which more often than not makes me want to listen to the originals instead. You, on the other hand, not only nailed it...you get everything out of the soundtrack that can possibly be gotten out, and the result is VGM BLISS!!! I sincerely hope that "No NES for the WIcked" is not your last NES-themed album... In any case, I'll pray that it's not ;)
A little comment to up this beautiful medley ! You should be the guy needed if any real re-do of the game were to appear. It's a pleasure to live the game again through your amazing work ! Born in 1982, receiving the game along with snake rattle'n roll for my 7 Years birthday this is giving me goose bumps listening to it on my homemade tube amp :-) thank you for this amazing work !
No NES For The Wicked is the best sounding metal cover of NES music. You guys should make more. I'd like to have vomitron version for these : - Green Hill Zone from Sonic (Sega) - The Moon from Duck Tales (NES) - Getsufuu Maden NES - Punch Out NES - TwinBee NES - Legend of Kage NES - Golden Axe (Sega) - Goonies NES - Super Mario Bros 2 NES, the one with 4 characters to select from. and MANY MANY MORE :D
Why I haven't of Vomitron is beyond me... I was imagining until few years ago how cool would it be if Contra and Castlevania were re-interpreted in metal.. Vomitron, you nailed it.. I may be late to know you but your work is greatly appreciated..
I cry because it's so beautiful what you do. I consider your work as the benchmark for how good/well/superb a videogame-soundtrack can speak through heavy metal
I remember listening to these for the first time nearly 9 years ago and they still shred. Thank you for continuing to create some of the absolute best VGM covers I have ever heard.
11 dislikes.... same number for BOTH Ninja Gaiden Acts 1-3 and 4-6 videos. Seriously, i think this is the best one BY FAR. And the others are incredible......
There are some very fucking hard modern games. The Ninja Gaiden series on Xbox, the whole Halo series (Legendary difficulty), Skyrim, Fallout, Mass Effect. Just quit being a pansy and max out the difficulty!
That happens a lot with konami's and capcom's games. It's not only the memories attached to the music, but the BGMs themselves. They're awesomely timeless.
Still, the best song ever... the arrangement, the tone, the passion, the perfection, the depth, the keys keeping it's classic feel but the guitars' punishing you like the Medusa heads. PLEASE DO BLOODSTAINED: CURSE OF THE MOON IN ITS ENTIRETY AND I'LL LISTEN TO IT EVERY SINGLE DAY AND donate 20 bucks every month until the world ends.
If Nintendo would bring Simon Belmont or Alucard into the next Super Smash Bros. gme, THIS would be the level GBM i would want to hear during a level crafted after castlevania
Back then, the box art for the game would sell you the fantasy so well that while playing, you didn't see pixels, you saw box-quality art. Yes kids, we had imagination back then.
Less then 150 000 views after 8 years..? What the f*ck is wrong with people!? :-) (I thought at least one million by now). Many years ago I also wanted to do metal covers of the Nintendo songs I grow up with... But I gave up the idea the moment I heard Vomitron, whats the point after this! ;-) You made it sound almost exactly what I could hear in my head, but I thought it was impossible to ”convert” my ideas to a cover like this :-) Or Zelda... Just perfect. Hope you release more songs soon!
llegue aqui atraves de alguien que me recomendo todo el medley. la verdad me ah gustado y para mi video de Castlevania 25 Aniversario seria genial, y porsupuesto con su respectivo agradecimiento.
What a horrible night to hit the dance floor..
Www una obra de arte
Yepp i can’t dance 😂.
Song "Wicked Child" (also known as "level 3") that starts at 2:30 is the best video game song ever!
You're right! It's funny because my Castlevania-inspired game is called "Wicked Child"
Thank you! I'm adding background music for my retropie menu, and wanted to include a good selection of video game tracks. This song will make a beautiful addition!
You are the savior of lost songs. Bless you.
Always loved this one; which is good because level 3 is where the difficulty ramped up for me, so I had plenty of time to enjoy it!
agreed!!! makes me play it so loud
You should make a kickstarter campaign to produce more music. I'd easily pledge!
This is the best cover of any video game music I have ever heard. Absolutely amazing!

Morgenthau well said😎
Agreed 100 percent. Couldnt have said it better mate!
That feel of urgency, that frenzied excitement he puts into these tracks is what makes his covers special. This music FEELS like the game!
For such a music there shouldn't be any "Dislike" buttons to hit.
+Ahoy! Sometimes it would be better when FB and YT switched their rating system
Hello person from the past! They removed the dislike number. Wish granted.
This should be more than 1M views
The best Castlevania covers that I've heard. Nice!
Makes my childhood days even better hearing all these tracks
Vomitron doesn't get enough credit for the amazing albums of our childhood that they recreated for us. Amazing work!!
I've listened to these 2 CDs over couple hundred times this past year.... I must say, it was time very well spent!
A little comment to up this beautiful medley !

These solos just rip so hard! what wonderful music making!
Siempre quise escuchar un fragmento de la Tocatta in Fuga en metal, genial!
Gracias
4:48 is my favorite! It builds and builds and just when you think it can't get any better it does:)!! This is my favorite song ever....

Rocking out to this in my car once a day is in order
just bought this from your bandcamp! this is easily the best video game cover I have ever heard, and I listen to a lot!
Why I haven't of Vomitron is beyond me... I was imagining until few years ago how cool would it be if Contra and Castlevania were re-interpreted in metal.. Vomitron, you nailed it.. I may be late to know you but your work is greatly appreciated..
As a kid, I only had the second Castlevania. Just recently have I got a copy of this one and played it. Both have great music.
2:22 FUCKING PERFECT!!
Hell yea!
I cry because it's so beautiful what you do. I consider your work as the benchmark for how good/well/superb a videogame-soundtrack can speak through heavy metal

*Journey to silius, special cybernetic attack team, batman, mega man 2, power blade. You guys need to cover those games eventually.*
Journey to Silius!!! An underrated classic!
11 dislikes.... same number for BOTH Ninja Gaiden Acts 1-3 and 4-6 videos. Seriously, i think this is the best one BY FAR. And the others are incredible......
The Heart of Fire, Out of Time, and Poison Mind parts are my favorite. The Out of Time part is definitely on of the best versions I've heard so far.
Your covers are the best! Hope to see one for CV3 in the future!
Too beautiful for my ears to behold... What is a man?
Wow not only is this good stuff but the recording is fantastic excellent all round !
este grupo es la ostiaaaaa
me encanta ojala vinierais a españa
Amazing work! Thanks so much for sharing this!
I'm pretty sure that part is Wicked Child. You can find a bunch of different versions of that if you look around.
2:21 Wicked Child
this reminds me of the days before games required no skill, I feel lik I was born just out of reach of these games.
castlevania is damn hard, you need mass amounts of skill to play it
go play dark souls
Go play Wow
There are some very fucking hard modern games. The Ninja Gaiden series on Xbox, the whole Halo series (Legendary difficulty), Skyrim, Fallout, Mass Effect. Just quit being a pansy and max out the difficulty!
***** i think what ZMcC meant was castlevania got no selection for difficulties and no continues with save and load function.
2024 and I still coming back here
5:00 fucking masterpiece
I always hated those damned Medusa heads. Those things always do knockback damage at the worst times. But I do like the series.
You just gave me post traumatic stress disorder from by reminding me of the medusa heads.
Alphayak Sorry, man. *Sets you up with a psychiatrist*
thanks man
No problem, those things would make anyone rage.
Man!! This is AWESOME! :D
Amazing. I have remembered my childhood. 👍🏻
Really dig this! Castlevania had some the coolest music ever!
666/10.
665
Why can't I like this 1000 times?
Found you on spotify! Holy F* :D epic covers!
8:43 Just beatiful✨
Still here jammin😀
First I can't understand how good this song is , but Metal is Best like YOU !
That happens a lot with konami's and capcom's games. It's not only the memories attached to the music, but the BGMs themselves. They're awesomely timeless.
Wow this was just what I was looking for! THANKS
Who in the hell disliked this?????
Those who couldn't pass Medusa heads.
Well I mean it's killer music, I'd still love it to death if I couldn't pass Medusa Heads!
Robert Anderson 7 pathetic souls, as of this listening.
+Robert Anderson Dracula...
They were probably vampires in bat form that accidentally clicked the dislike button because they were hanging upside down. Only possible explanation.
I found out about you in Pandora and I have to say you kick ass. Genuinely one of the best covers.
ROCK n ROLL!! Thanks brotha!
I can't believe I said that only a year ago. Shows how much we learn over time.
this entire album was my favorite to workout to
If Nintendo would bring Simon Belmont or Alucard into the next Super Smash Bros. gme, THIS would be the level GBM i would want to hear during a level crafted after castlevania
i am forever loyal to nintendo. now i can die happy.thank you ever posted this on here.
Pure eargasm, holy shit
Man, the sound effects toward the end just pull the whole thing together.
This is incredible
epic cover !!! magic as original soundtrack AMAZING!!!!!!
HOLY SHIT, AMAZING!!!! Enough said....
Back then, the box art for the game would sell you the fantasy so well that while playing, you didn't see pixels, you saw box-quality art. Yes kids, we had imagination back then.
Man this brings it back! No NES For The Wicked!
This should be a genre called Synth Metal. It’s fucking amazing
@PKFlashBeta Pfff haha, the saying "no rest for the wicked" has been around for ages, let alone since Cage the Elephant.
This is life.
Sweet Zeus that ending, this whole song. Brilliant.
@5:00 is the best
@PKFlashBeta Maybe so, but most likely not. Cage did not coin the phrase, but they did make it into a badass song.
Less then 150 000 views after 8 years..? What the f*ck is wrong with people!? :-) (I thought at least one million by now). Many years ago I also wanted to do metal covers of the Nintendo songs I grow up with...

Finally, somebody else says NES as Ness.
True, but this soundtrack is from the original Castlevania and that phrase is from Castlevania 2: Simon's quest. Anyway, nice memories :)
2:21 - Every AVGN montage ever! Where did the hair go?
More Vomitron more!!
i wanna scream of joy when i hear this song you know its like FUCK YEAH CASTLEVANIA BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH YEAH
Time flies... I didn't pay attention that your post was 1 year old, sorry. I don't care that much about time. Anyway, have a good day !
Love the 80s synth on the first song
Yes. This is awesome.
great music
I hope I'm gonna dream me some nice first-person Castlevania tonight..
Thanks for the info, I was just letting PKFlash know that it wasn't Cage the Elephant.
.... Nerdgasm .... I can imagine you guys doing Castlevanias 2, 3 and 4.
Eargasm nostalgia
I can go deaf happily after this
Have you ever heard any remixes in other Castlevania games?
If I'm ever going to be really great in life it will from this song...
I hope you found greatness
Fucking awesome. You guys should do Castlevania II Simon's Quest, just for "Bloody Tears."
Happy Halloween everybody. (^:^)
@mikeymike4g63, Thanks, would never have known it. :)
Memories...
GREAT COVER!
llegue aqui atraves de alguien que me recomendo todo el medley. la verdad me ah gustado y para mi video de Castlevania 25 Aniversario seria genial, y porsupuesto con su respectivo agradecimiento.
This is the Badass remake of Badassitude Castlevania 3 please
3:50 and 7:04....... all i need to say
Heart of fire is my favorite part here!
Amazing! Absolutely amazing!
Bloody Tears was created for Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. This video showcase the first game's OST, so, no, no Bloody Tears. =/
Awesome !! Perfect !!!
This expression was used quite often so it could be from anything. (ask wikipedia)
This is so awesome. I rarely ever have gotten to hear the music in the middle of this video because of those FUCKING MEDUSA HEADS!
This is amazing
Is there gtp anywhere?
ohhh meu Deus, que louco! isso é foda demais!
