With Halloween just around the corner, Serina brought home a new vase to challenge herself with a new crop on the farm - dahlias! Finding orange flowers around the farm is easy despite the fall weather because Serina's favorite flower colour is orange. But will the strange bowl work as a vase? And can flowers be spooky? Let's find out!

Gorgeous boo-quet! Great flower choices. Putting it outside amongst the leaves in natural light really really made it pop! Dusty is the perfect cat model and fit in so well! This really brightened my morning, taking a short break for breakfast, before I try to get Fireball to eat some more. Have a great weekend guys!

It definitely shifted from Summer 'get your sun tan lotion' orange, to Autumn 'get your Pumpkin spice coffee and a cosy blanket' orange. As ever, great watching your vision come together.

Good morning, up to have breakfast before doing bridal party flowers and then work.
Absolutely gorgeous. The cosmo absolutely made it better. Wondering how much would you charge for an arrangement like that.
This fall bouquet is awesome! I've used small fresh pumpkins rubbed the inside with oil, then a little plastic wrap over that, but I always put the flowers in a glass jar. Just for market display...but it always sold. I loved the h.hock pods!! I've always used the bl.eyed susan pods for yrs. in the fall. They really pop in those orange fall shades. I also use corn husks..just the pieces that are lighter against the cob. Oak leaves,currants, whatever I can find! So glad fire scare has passed. You rebounded great!

Amazing Bouquet my absolute favourite bouquet I haven’t seen any other garden channel create. Plus I don’t see a lot of orange flower bouquets created by other channels. I love orange. From one Canuck to another thank you for using different colours in bouquets.

A beautiful bouquet of "Autumn Colors"! You have a fall of leaves. Summer continues in Crimea. +14+28* Celsius. Frosts are expected possibly in December . I can't plant the tulips, it's too hot for them. But good for people. No need to heat the house)))
I've always pronounced it mar a golds but I love how Serena says merry golds, which is more correct anyways. Your love for them is just so cute. They were my mom's favorite so I love seeing you loving them so much. Gives me such a happy feeling.

I was thinking next year, you should do a bouquet bar by your roadside stand Everybody can make their arrangements and of course have some already to sell. Having a csa too would help. All this would be for the people that don’t know you have a road side stand or sell at them market . and you would get more exposure
On the website you can have something called the florist/wedding flower center. Everyday or every few days you update flowers you can offer out with a listing of pricing. individual stems or by bunch.

I am so envious of your flower farm as we will be getting -9C as a low in a couple of days. All my flowers have died, my husband mowed them down with the bush wacker. I am happy to see what the Coco Marigold flowers are like and I will now include Coco Gold in my flower seed order from William Dam. Zone 3 flower farming is so very challenging, wish we were a 4 or even a 5 but it is what it is.

Love this channel and learn lots, I bought some herb plants this year and one that has grown amazing and really easy to Propogation as just roots in water is Pineapple Sage. Wondering if you have ever grown as greenery. Mine have just started to flower in UK October delicate flower but good sturdily stem and leaves. From a small 6inch plant to a bush in one season is amazing. Plus when you rub leaves smells delicious. X

Gorgeous!! The grass you left out looked like corn silks. And I probably would have used a few dead sunflowers, but they would have taken up a lot of space in the vase. Maybe you can make one with the grass and sunflowers 🌾🌻🌾 All I know is now I need a Booquet for my porch! 🎃 This is the perfect time of year to sell the spooky versions of the flowers so people can decorate with them. ✌🏻

My favourite detail was probably the dead rudbeckia and the cosmos combo!
We kept this one in the outbuilding to enjoy for a few days. Then I used the vase as my candy bowl for trick or treating in the stand

How much would you sell this arrangement at?
The vase was expensive, so that's going to add a lot. I retail dahlias at $5, and this had 8, so just the dahlias would be $40. I'd probably have to charge about $200-$250 for everything

The halloween spirit, is a spirit of death. Unfortunately there in this day, real sacrifices are made. Sad to see that you are celebrating this day, and your flowers are such a blessing, and you have had a wonderful year with your sales.
😅so appropriate calling the marigolds the flower of the day of the dead. 🤮they smell like death. Lol.
They are good fillers if you can withstand the smell of them though.
