Interesting video, thanks. I hadn't realised that the 377/7s had pantographs and, until your closing shot, presumed they must be able to get to Watford on 3rd rail alone. But clearly not. I was also thinking how patient you have to be to drive a freight train!
@@bobfennell3717 they used to run up to Milton keens central with the /2’s but I had noticed they stopped running the /7’s and mostly just ran /2s down the line (and the /5 ofc has had them since the first capital connect days for Bedford to Brighton services

I think the similar 375/6 also have pantographs fitted. Also the 350/0 have third rail capability.
