Robert's face of pure horror after Aaron said "It was with me!" was SO satisfying! I savored that moment for days afterwards. It wasn't actually the thing that made me feel sorry for Chrissie though. No, that was when she accidentally downed the heli and killed three people.

Scenes like this make me miss Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley on Emmerdale! Such great performances. Louise Marwood did fantastic in this scene as well. You could see the slow realization of the truth at the moment Robert yelled, “Shut up!” Great scene.

At the end of the day, it's a matter of opinion, but Danny has played some absolutely fantastic scenes in his time on the show, so in my opinion it's hard to deny he's got a certain je ne sais quoi when it comes to his craft.

Well after this we hear a discussion describing how Robert's father found out that he was gay by catching him in the act with a farm hand when he was a teenager .
I don't know if those scenes ever appeared in an episode though .
If so, I would sure like to see that .

The scenes never actually aired. It was said to have happened when Robert was 15, which would've been between 2001 and 2002. At some point in 2001, Robert wasn't in the show as his actor at the time (Christopher Smith) was sacked in favour of an older actor (Karl Davies) so he could be a part of more "grown-up" stories. After Jack caught Robert with the farm hand, Robert was sent away for the summer to live with relatives. This issue by the Emmerdale crew of 2001 would provide the perfect opportunity for the Emmerdale crew of 2016 to work with, and I must say it was a very clever move.
