There's no shame in wanting someone that represents your sport to win. I can't stand Conor and his fans in MMA and he knocked out 2 of my favorite fighters and a teammate, yet I still want him to shock the world. First time I'm ever rooting for Conor.

Brian Heightz Can't defend him on that. I know he's looking to make history, but the fact that he won't defend his belt to me is questionable. At Featherweight the only guy there really is Frankie and an Aldo rematch. Lightweight has a ton of legitimate guys that imo will beat him and of course he won't fight a real WW, but at this point it's up to him. The day that he defends his belt will also be a historical moment.

he has more ko's only for the simple fact that he's been boxing professionally since conor was 8.... that's a reach. floyd hasn't knocked anyone out in the past decade besides the ortiz cheap shot. plus he's been retired for 2 years, and in those 2 years do I even need to say who conor has knocked out lmao. basically everyone of his opponents these last 2 years have been unconscious once conor gets in the cage w them. actually since 2014, all conor's wins have came by KO or TKO.

Im pretty sure that floyd has never actually knocked anyone fully unconscious where their body shuts down, Conor has a 4 second KO, 13 second KO and when he faced buchinger they were all completely knocked out.
kick flips People fail to realize Floyds professional career began at a 130 pounds and when he was in the olympics he was fighting at 126 pounds ..He was a monster at 130 and 135..this fight is at 154..He had to adjust his style of fighting to beat the naturally big man..Conor aint knocking nobody out at 170..And don't say he dropped Nate at 170 Nate fights at 155 they just agreed to fight at 170..Floyds Tko ko ratio was just as high as Conors when Floyd was at 130 135..I'm a fan of both. and "All of Conors wins since 2014 has came by tko or ko"..He just got a decision against Nate last year..

The reason you don't see Floyd get knocked down is 1) nobody has been able to land multiple blows against him because of his defense 2) he takes a better punch than people give him credit for. I saw him get battered in the corner by Cotto, but he did'nt go down.

Sooner or later Floyd will have to engage. The good thing is Conor has a longer reach and can pressure like he always does and Conors also a counter puncher so if Floyd does strike so will Conor and if Conor strikes so will Floyd but Conors more experienced in actual combat and he can take a punch.
