Who is The Fold? Not only is this band responsible for the massively popular LEGO Ninjago theme song "The Weekend Whip", but a brand at the top of their game in 2024! Starting out on Tooth & Nail Records, the group spun a failed 2009 album tour into a comical commentary on the current state of the music business with it’s viral smash hit “Every Band in the USA.” (RUclips). From then on, the band decided to just be REAL w their fans. Having just surpassed 200,000 subscribers, they are very in tune with their niche fanbase, many of which discovered the band through their Lego Ninjago' hit entitled "The Weekend Whip", and are just discovering the bounty of music The Fold has built over these past two decades.

"Ninjago is a kids show." Never known someone so wrong lol, keep making fantastic masterpieces each seasons.
Ninjago helped us connect with a new generation of people and the timing was perfect. We never thought of the audience as kids, but as people who were capable of following pretty mature writing. Without the writing on the show, The Fold wouldn’t have been able to go so in depth with our lyrics. The themes they explored were RIGHT in line with what we truly believe. It was fate.

It’s crazy how Kai tries to the very end to save Lloyd even without his powers. That’s a reason why I like Kai the most. He is the bravest and never lets his friends, mostly Lloyd

@@Feyrex I'm pretty sure the Hagmen brothers wrote both seasons. And Kai had good reason to not want to give up his powers, they're nemisis and a biker gang that has defeated them at almost every turn was coming to invade they're city. His fear and hesitation made sense.

@@skydog7828 I'm on season 5 right now. I didn't really like season 3 that much (except the sad ending) ,but season 4 about that huge tournament was FIRE. So far season 5 is pretty good, I really like Moro because his motives actually make sense and his backstory makes me sympathetic towards him. The only thing I hate about Moro is that his character is kinda generic, he basically is like Tai-Lung from Kung Fu Panda. But I do love his unique ghost powers.
I'm looking forward to the rest of this series, unfortunatly someone spoiled season 16 for me and told me that Nya dies or something, but I won't let that spoiler ruin the show for me!

I remember when I was 9 when this season was gonna come out i was so hyped for it'd my favourite season
My favourite season was Skybound but this season was an absolute Banger. They carried the momentum they had after season 4 and produced an even better season in 5. In my opinion, Morro had the coolest element and I love the whole story as a whole

I will never stop loving the different versions of the whip. I love Ninjago so much with its world building, action, emotion, characters, story, and of course music by The Fold. I like current Ninjago, but there's just something about classic Ninjago I love. The ghost whip is so nostalgic and awesome to listen to.
This was made 6 years ago. I can’t believe this was that long ago it feels like I watched this season yesterday. This is by far my favorite ninjago song. I’m not really a fan of the newer seasons of the show but every once in a while I rewatch this season

I love this masterpiece, I really mean it, the theme fits well with the theme of the season, I remember this season well when I was a child, I loved this song a lot, especially the evil green ninja without a doubt, the best season accompanied by the best song as an intro and without missing the creators of such a beautiful piece, The Fold ❤

My favourite season was Season 4, with all the new characters and elements, along with the plot twists, which made it very creative in my opinion. However, I really like this season because of its storyline, and this intro I really like.
