Please stop using the sentence " i have it worse" or similar, as it can make people feel guilty for being unhappy. This being said, i hope you both will get better. Don't let your parents negativity bring you down, they visited school DECADES ago in a completely different state of the world, in a different society, without a global pandemic making everything chaotic - how the hell would they understand what going to school at our current times is like? I'm not in school anymore, but with the impact that the pandemic had on my worklife recently, i think i can relate to how stressed out y'all are. You are not in this alone, you are valid, and your future WILL be bright, no matter your current grades or people's opinions on you. It's the mindset that counts. Love y'all. xoxo

Ah, to be back in this snowy street again. While the locals may have moved out a long time ago, an occasional passing polar bear is there to keep the spirit of the village alive. Since the houses aren't in use anymore, I love to just hop onto a nearby balcony and have some freshly brewed coffee, while watching the polar bears pass. It's the only pastime I've got in this place, but I cannot complain, as this type of atmosphere I won't find anywhere nearby...
Sometimes I go out for a nightly walk and whilst being embraced by nothing but calm and peace, I walk past by other people and can't help but wonder about how their lives are going. But we're strangers right, so what can I do? I just continue jugglng thoughts inside my head whose existence I cannot undo. So I simply keep on walking, minding my own business as usual, but the next timeI'm about to walk past someone this sudden urge hits me and I say "Uhm..Hello!". A foolish thing truly, for that person looked at me perplexed, probably thinking "who is this random person trying to talk to me at 3:00 AM?". As expected said person just went on ahead, not gettin a hello in return did not make me mad, it struck a cord deep within and instead began to make me feel sad. I take a few more steps but end up turning back, what I see the silhouette of a person whose thoughts I'm desperately trying to unpack. "Why bother?" I wonder, to each their own as it should rightfully be, but as I ready my movement I begin to perceive a gaze on me. Now it got awkward and I began to realize, that I must look like a stalker lurking in the night. I turn back immediatelly and pick up on speed, for it was never my intention to make that person feel afraid of me. And upon picking up the pace I suddenly hear - barely noticeable but also vividly clear - a very gentle "Hello!" just entering my ear. I turn once again and what I see is a wave, from a person that I thought I made feel unsafe. I'm an introvert you see, the moment I said "Hello" I essentially crawled out of the box I used to call me and that "Hello!" in return I'll remember with a smile on my face, for probably more than just the remainder of my days.
