You should try a 20 kill streak with every class one after another. You have to pick them in order and if you die in the process you have to start over again. Changing maps, or game modes won't re-start your class but if you die in any of the lives before getting to 20 kills you got to go back to the first class...

The true self inflicted pain wasn't the challenge, it was the method. I literally thought to myself "why not do a vaccinator pocket medic + sniper or super patient engineer?" at the start of the video, and one of those winning before elmaxo in the video really shows that this didn't have to be so bad. More pls.

I was on the receiving end of a 100-kill streak. Third-stage dustbowl, red demoman with two kritz medics. We spent ten minutes getting wiped out by that guy, and the streak broke a hundred. Lots of people said he was cheating, but that's just how dustbowl works.
EDIT: Oh, I was probably getting destroyed by that guy you mention in the first minute of the video.
I can't even imagine the scope of a burnout you are about to have from doing all these challenges.
Unlike all of the other elmaxo challenges, this one is more like the game “Getting over it” because instead of constantly chipping at a large task slowly making progress. Instead he’s doing a somewhat short task with constant resets making it so failing causes so much more frustration because he has to restart from the beginning. No progress is guaranteed so frustration will happen just like “Getting over it”

I joined a server and someone was on a 114 kill streak. Was thinking "wow this guy is amazing" when I took the tele and died instantly. Turns out, my whole team was just taking the tele to give him kills
the fact it was the same sticky trapping demo named "i'm using a controller" with his scottish resistant named "who puts stickies THERE???" is probably the funniest part of the video

Dude I kid you not, I had sadly lost interest in tf2 awhile back. But once I found you it really inspired me to get back into the game. You've reminded and rejuvenated my love for the game and all the aspects that make you laugh, cry, and rage. As a fellow 20 year old you and I grew up watching some of the best tf2 content imaginable, and I am more than proud to say that you represent (and offer more) that generation well with his content. Your edits, videos, and content are amazing and I am sure you will gain enough popularity to bring a staggering amount of people to the game to bring tf2 from the depths of valves filing cabinets. I have an undeniable respect for you and your constant grind to create new and better tf2 content. For the love of god, don't ever stop. Introduce a new generation to what tf2 has to offer, even if it isn't in it's former glory.
I dropped tf2 for a year a few years back. That games beauty lies in the fact that it never changes and that random itch to play again is always easily scratched
Legitimately, I played since 2016 and only fell off when I started having other things take up my life. Seeing fresh tf2 content was like greeting an old friend I haven't seen in awhile.

The level of quality in terms of edits, concepts, and entertainment is up there with the rest of em. But the level of effort, dedication, and commitment to the gameplay itself might be on it's own level of tf2ber glory, at least in these challenge videos. Pretty awesome to see for such an old game!
There are some arguments to say otherwise, I do think you sre somewhat right with the effort put in to his videos.
But Lazypurple with his hogh energy and SFM moments makes his more engaging.
And Ancle Daen got... well. Everything. He's just well rounded, he makes like Elmaxo and LP good and entertaining videos. But his ability to inform and make stuff happen like Uncletopia. Is mostly unmatched.
Elmaxo is also quite well rounded, and just like a Soldier in the game Elmaxo is well rounded and good in all sorts of positions when making videos wheter it be his humour, his power to make people understand stuff they might not have just a couple minutes prior. Or his power to make these high intensive moments be even more frightening or more drawn out.
All three make awesome videos. They all have flaws, like how all three (especially Lazypurple(sorry mah dude)) being slow with their work.
But there's no question that when Elmaxo either leaves for good or passes on, the community will remember him for a long time afterwards. He's given so much for us, and in return... we will be sure to fuck him over in the next challenge till' day seven!
The challenge wasn't getting an 100 killstreak, it was getting an 100 killstreak with gamers deliberately trying to stop you from getting an 100 killstreak

One strat you could’ve tried with demo would be play demoknight with the eyelander get 2-4 kills then swap your loadout to stickies so you have demo with way more speed and health

binging through all the videos cause i never realized what i've been missing out on. 100 killstreak challenge to me feels similar to the 7-99 challenge in spelunky 2, one wrong move and all the hard work got thrown in the food dispenser
It was amazing being in the game when you hit the triple digits, and also fun to occasionally see myself in the killfeed or victim to one of your crit rockets. Wonderful video as always Elmaxo and I can't wait to see what you do in the future! (Obviously after your well deserved break!)

I swear i can go months without playing tf2 but the moment i watch one of your videos it sends me down a path of pure brainrot of just loving this game to death
You know, I've been hearing lots of folks say very cranky things about random crits, I wonder what the actual mechanics behind them are. *checks wiki*
"Random crits deal 300% of your weapon's base damage, and can occur up to 12% of the time with ranged weapons and up to 60% of the time with melee weapons."
Jesus Fucking Christ, I get it now. For context, critical hits in Pokemon? Deal 150% damage, and in most scenarios have a 6.25% chance of happening (prior to gen 7, at least, in which the base crit rate was lowered to 4.17%). And they're still bad enough to piss off competitive players when they happen. A few moves/items boost crit rates to 12.5%, which is bad enough to piss off even casual players like myself. Tf2's crit rates and damage boosts are absolutely absurd and if I were a tf2 player I would absolutely be chewing my keyboard in half for having to deal with them lol

I had to complete a 2Fort jungle inferno contract a few days ago, and lemme just say.... you have to wait for the round to end until you can finish the contract. I've never been happier from a round ending when it finally did after like 2 fkn hours
I did the 2fort contract too, I completed the whole thing, bonus objectives and all in the first fifteen minutes of the match because I got lucky, then I played for almost another whole hour, and decided to try to cap the last intel, and then got votekicked because of it, costing me my entire contract.

Seeing people reach 100 killstreaks is actually surprisingly really common I have seen at least 5 people reach that many on a 32 player server
I have 5k hours and have never seen a 100 killstreak. It's probably way easier on a 32 person server, which I've never played on.
I once witnessed something like a 50 killstreak but never 100 (2,5k hours)

As a scottish resistance enjoyer, our satisfaction does not come from watching our traps like watching paint dry.
Our satisfaction comes from not being a tryhard stickyspamming, the idea of having multiple fallback points and the sheer satisfaction of ending someone's killstreak if they get greedy. Its a psychological warfare alike that of walking in an open field with against a good sniper, only this time you have to check door frames, pillars and roofs.

I know, for me on a computer that might as well be run off of a potato (about 17 to 25 fps during most games), that even getting a 10 or 15 kill streak is an absolute pain (but I being someone who doesn't usually play on many classes other than medic most probably doesn't help my skill level).
You are an absolute legend for even attempting such a thing, and will go down in history for finishing it!
