There are several reasons why we don't have toilets with bidets in Germany:
    1. After the war, Germany was destroyed and there was hardly any living space. The quickest solution was apartment buildings. That's why Germans are still a nation of renters today.
    2. The landlords would have to buy and install these toilets. They are then allowed to increase the rent, but they have to do it first. And if they do it for one tenant, they have to do it for all of them. If only because the same rent cannot be charged for apartments with different equipment.
    3. We Germans build to last forever if possible. That means we only replace something when it is really broken and can no longer be repaired. And our toilets easily last 30-50 years. 30 years ago, no one in Germany knew about bidets (not even in Japan).
    4. We've all been used to using toilet paper since childhood. But for the luxury, there is wet toilet paper and, in an emergency, washcloths, water and soap.
But the concept is in great demand. But as I said, we don't just replace the toilets because they are better. The old one has to be broken first. And then you as a tenant have the problem that you are not allowed to replace it yourself. The tenant has to agree and do it.
If you have your own house, it is easier.

I think the world war isn’t one of the reasons, since in Switzerland, Sweden or Portugal toilets with jets are not common as well as in Germany…

Fortunately detachable showerheads are pretty normal in German households, so we can also use it for our rear, but it's not very practical.

@@Hey.Joe. ... but the problem is that you don't want to take a shower every time after you had to go the rest room...

@@MartsHH Indeed, that's why it's not very practical.
But if if I have to do the big business more than one time of the day, then something is wrong with my health.

Me as a german can't take spicy food at all :D I always tell the Indian restaurants to not make it spicy and still my throat burns :D
Because of your comment to toilet paper - I would prefer your water jets as common here, too - but everyone here just grew up with it and is used to it, even if your way seems to be better.

And the high hot spice level is not the only reason, there are too many different spices and intense amount of it in the same dish for me, maybe my tongue cannot multitask that much.
I like spicy food, but I don't like if I cannot taste the flavorings anymore, because everything in the mouth is burning the taste away including the tongue, the throat and the afterburner in the bathroom and also the heartburn during sleep in the night.

Well, a pizza or pasta will surely fill you up too. Usually more than an Indian plate you get here. Of course when you get as much as them it's another thing. And for the figure it might be better to have Indian, but not really sure...Price-wise Indian food will be more expensive though here for the amount you get.

Most indian food is pretty disappointing in Germany. Only got better when i friended the cook in our restaurant and he put the real spices into the food

I really enjoy your reaction videos about Germany - I hope you go on with them!! I can imagine that our food here would cause "problems" for you since compared to Indian food European food is a lot less spicy/hot! I myself like hot and spicy food and therefore I love to go to go to Indian restraurantes here. Of course I am aware that the Indian restaurants cook less spicy/hot here in Europe than in India. They have to adjust the ir food to the local taste - otherwise they will loose customers. And of course I am aware also that a lot of Indian restaurants are run by Pakistani in Europe.

Oh, usually they DO very spicy food … if you ask them nicely. I once told the waiter that I like it VERY spicy and that the chef should please prepare it as spicy as he is used to at home. And hell, yes, it *was* as spicy as I remembered. When we left, the chef even came out to the front for a moment to see the crazy guy eating _that_ spicy :D

there are really good Indian restaurants in Germany, but you might have to visit several ones, before you find them. In Hamburg we have quite several good ones - due a German woman married an Indian guy and they offer really original Indian dishes in their restaurants

you could react to the German music project 'Snap' with their 'Indian remix' of 'The Power' (full name = 'Power of Banghra')

You should try a pizza in a real italian restaurant in Germany (or even better in Italy). It's not a snack.
I tried traditional indian food homemade, when I was invited from an indian friend's mother. I like spicy and I had no problem eating it. She made a lot of different pots of stuff, but I have to say that you couldn't taste anything but spicyness. No matter which color it had, it all tasted the same and nothing but spicy. I always wondered, if that's how it's meant to be? It would be a pity to spend so much time in the kitchen, when you could have the same effect with just one pot.

I've seen a lot of your videos and I really liked them. But what surprises me is that you don't respond to any comments. Don't you feel like it or is it too much work for you? It's like writing comments that end up in a "black hole"... 😀

I guess they are very busy and probably this channel is not the only one, but I feel your point.
No communication with audience at all so far I see. Maybe they prefer an other platform for that.
