i have been using this stitching technique for over 30 years. when i was teaching, i tried to incorporate the "older" skills of crochet, knitting, darning, and embroidery as skills for my middle/high schoolers to practice during down time when they had completed their assignments. kept them quiet, taught them skills, they saw results for other uses, and they enjoyed the extra activities they were allowed. thank you for trying to show these to others. practice ... shaq didn't make baskets the first time he shot a basketball. :)

Cha , mẹ tôi đều là nông dân những ngày mưa gió hay công việc đồng áng đã ổn thì cha mẹ tôi lại mang đồ quần áo ra xem chỗ nào rách thì vá lại cho cả gia đình luôn ! 😢😢😢 😢😢😢 đến khi tự lập tôi cũng có nhiều lần phải tự làm những việc như vậy ! 😢😢😢 ❤❤❤ cái khó ló cái hay và từ những công việc nho nhỏ như vậy tôi bắt đầu nghĩ đến chuyện nhỏ hơn nữa là giá như mình tìm cách phục hồi được cái dạ dầy bị viêm loét thì khỏi bị cắt bỏ và còn tiết kiệm được chút tiền khám chữa bệnh ít nhiều cũng giúp mình khỏi đỡ đau bệnh ! 😂😂😂 ❤❤❤ nghĩ là một ý tưởng nhưng thực hiện thì lại là chuyện khác ! 😂😂😂 ❤❤❤ nghĩ là mình chỉ tìm cách để đỡ đau bệnh thôi nhưng khi thực hiện thì kết quả còn trên cả tuyệt vời chỉ 270 phút sau một gấc nghủ ngon tôi tỉnh dậy thì dạ dầy viêm loét của tôi đã được phục hồi 100% ! ❤❤❤ ❤❤❤ việc này giúp tôi khỏi bệnh đau dạ dầy từ ngày 6/2/2005 đến nay không cần một dụng cụ y tế hay dùng một viên thuốc uống tiết kiệm được tiền khám chữa bệnh mà vẫn khỏe mạnh cũng chẳng phải kiêng uống rượu bia ngay sau khi chữa ! ❤❤❤❤
My mother, a tailoress, used to do this amazing invisible mending. Beautiful memories of her skillls as I watch this. However as she worked so fast I never learned the skills. I am thrilled to watch this video… thank you. ❤. She really saved the day when on the morning of my son’s wedding I was shortening my husband’s brand new suit trousers and cut one leg off at the wrong mark and well above ankle line!! I was distraught! Mum, in her late 80’s and with vision declining took the trousers and had performed this amazing mend on them, rejoining where I had cut. You could not see where the fabric was repaired and 😅 after me calming down and thanking her, the day was saved! We then enjoyed our son’s wedding all thanks to Mum. 😅😅❤❤

Nice work. My mother was a tailor by trade and made all my clothes by hand when I was a kid. This video reminded me of the hours I spent watching and learning from her. She had me sewing on buttons at the age of 2! lol

I learned so much from working summers with him that I was able to renovate my first house all on my own. I was the only teen age girl I knew that got power tools for Christmas! They've both always been at the top of my list when I count my blessings.

I enjoy your sewing, it reminds me of my late parents and so wish I would’ve learned more from them. My mom was a seemstress and my Dad a tailor. I used to enjoy cutting patterns out with my mom and watch my dad make me a blazer(it doesn’t fit me anymore but I still have it). I’m not sure how old you are, but you seem young by the look of your hands, thanks for sharing.

Se llama pegamento de vaselina. Está hecho de algodón y es similar a la tela. Es preferible comprar el material fino, utilizarlo y al momento de pegarlo debe estar bien calentado. Puedes comprarlo en tiendas que venden mercería, hilo y botones. Siempre está presente en estos lugares. Mis mejores deseos de éxito y buena suerte :) 🌹🌹💖

Vaseline is an adhesive, thermal fabric or filler used to line men's suits. The names differ by country. It is cotton and looks like fabric. It is better to buy and use soft material, and when gluing it should be well heated. You can buy it at stores that sell haberdashery, twine, and buttons. It is always present in these places. its actually a very common patch cloth/fabric used by all tailors worldwide. you can easy check the local name or availability at your local tailor they can even give you small pieces for free.

Se llama pegamento de vaselina. Está hecho de algodón y es similar a la tela. Es preferible comprar el material fino, utilizarlo y al momento de pegarlo debe estar bien calentado. Puedes comprarlo en tiendas que venden mercería, hilo y botones. Siempre está presente en estos lugares. Mis mejores deseos de éxito y buena suerte :) 🌹🌹💖

Vaseline is an adhesive, thermal fabric or filler used to line men's suits. The names differ by country. It is cotton and looks like fabric. It is better to buy and use soft material, and when gluing it should be well heated. You can buy it at stores that sell haberdashery, twine, and buttons. It is always present in these places. its actually a very common patch cloth/fabric used by all tailors worldwide. you can easy check the local name or availability at your local tailor they can even give you small pieces for free.
