except CU will of had zero to do with it. He should have stayed committed to K-State out of Derby HS. Don’t forget CU was his 2nd stop. But at least he’s where he belongs now.
This kid deserves all the success even though he is no longer a Buff. KSU is a great fit for him and he wanted to make his own path. Hats off to D.Edwards. Still a fan of him
@ejthomas88 I mean the proof is there.. hence the reason they don't run the ball, sheduer has to get all the stats.. even when the running backs get the ball, it's a screen pass so sheduer gets the completion plus the yards.. even when Travis won the Heisman sheduer jokingly said, "well he couldn't have gotten it if I wasn't throwing him the ball" it wasn't a joke, that's how he really feel... everybody knows it was all about stat padding for sheduer
Coach Prime wasn't running the ball even if they had Ashton Jeanty back there... all those yards gotta go to Sheduer stats, the only way a running back getting the ball at Colorado is a screen pass 😂
Hate to say it, but CU is in the playoffs with Dylan on the roster. Hope his experience at KSU lives up to potentially winning a national championship!
He's too small, bro! He won't last a full season as RB1! These were basically the same plays CU used him for! Many NIL players sat out this game as well! Next season will tell the tale! Happy for him to shine in a bowl game!
@fuegotime8482 Don't know if that's true are not but that man made a good choice by leaving Colorado. That man wanna be showcased, and he couldn't at Colorado.
Given Dylan credit but let's not forget who is playing. Rutgers. He had a similar game in his freshman with the Buffs. In the first game the Buffs won 45-42, Dylan had 5 carries for 135 yards and 3 TD's. As we played tougher defense, the numbers went down and they couldn't even get a 1 yard on a 3rd down. This Rutger defense looks like TCU in 2023. Go watch Dylan's highlights from that TCU game and you will see similar, mostly passing to the outside for him to sprint. But going up the middle was a problem against teams with good defenses.
Glad he finally got some carries this year 😂😂 and glad he finally had k state highlights other than the bench. Should have stayed where you were loved not liked !!
DJ Giddens was their RB1 for a reason, Dylan Edwards is fast but he does not break many tackles. K-State’s system is the best for him since they got Deuce Vaughn drafted who is of aimilar size and speed
@@1timetoliveright no one figured him out at CU....Oregon State current rb had 1300 yards and 15 tds with Colorado same oline.....Colorado was stat padding for Deion son vs running a real system. He wasn't gonna get the touches...Colorado was about stat padding for travis and sheuder thats why they cant beat good teams.
Great game from Dylan but people are tryna say he's a great back but he's not. I only remembered him having another good game like this one in 2 years was in the TCU game his freshman year, he's not a physical player or consistent enough to be a very down back. Even if he was a starter, he's not gonna consistently average 100 yds, 1 TD per game. His game is out on the perimeter where there's space then he can use that speed but his body build is not for running between the tackles. This is why he only gives you this great performance once yearly. Base on plays designed and Dylan's productions, he's only a 3rd down back and a returner until he proves me wrong.
1.) We don’t use TE’s as receivers here. Metayer is a pure receiving TE. 2.) NHG wouldn’t have come here if Lundy came. Lundy got hurt, and NHG was our best defender not named Travis Hunter, so be thankful Lundy didn’t come. 3.) Did you watch Savion Washington play last year? He was in the doghouse big time over that. Him leaving was the best thing he could’ve done for himself. That guy needed a hard reset, and he got it at Cuse. 4.) Dylan Edwards wouldn’t have had an opportunity like this at CU. He made the right choice leaving. We flat out don’t run the ball, and even when we do, the holes don’t open. Why would he stay? I wouldn’t if I were in his shoes. Not to mention his family and girlfriend are all back in Kansas to my knowledge. *Just be happy the guys that left found the right home for them. Woulda coulda shoulda isn’t gonna bring them back*
@@JohnJones-m8s you are wrong I just don’t feel like breaking it down tight end from last year had 6 touchdowns so you are wrong in that statement Dylan was the third string running back he would have started at Colorado they had packages put together for him. @@deyvonpierce1811 so you did read it. Got it. Btw, you realize despite him being RB3, he had more yards than our RB1? Our RB1 only had like 8 more carries too. Colorado Buffalos are Proud of you dillon' keep it up

Congratulation Dylan well deserved!
*From a CU fan, congratulations Dylan.*

Good Job Edwards way to run that ball.🎉 1:35
Great job by WR blocking downfield helping too!
