You guys asked for it, here it is! Top 22 heroes in Empires and Puzzles in 2022. This list was extremely difficult to make, but I think a lot of the characters I wanted to include made the list. This list is sustainably different than the list of top 21 heroes of 2021. Let me know in the comments, which heroes are correct, which ones are wrong? Is this the E&P best heroes?

Sometimes Finley costume is the best hero of the game as long as Mitsuko or guardian Kong costume is on the enemy. He is fast hit1 to 5 heros for 420 damage and lowers there ac by 56 percent. And if you take elemental link that's a buff so wat h out he will hit you. You for got the best hero
Surprised you don't have Kravekrush up there somewhere. Really puts a damper on all resurrection heros as well as fighters revive abilities. Also just so you know...Hulda is the Queen of the moles...have no clue why she looks like a buck tooth hippo from a childrens book lol. Goseck huh? Im just waiting on this last tabbard and hes next to fully ascend for me too. Glad I made the right choices there.

Advise for Alucard.? Began playing 2018 then life happened, absent for 1yr+, came back..New e&p, new 85 level, new everything bro. Went back & Join the one & only alliance I've been with. My heros, my team was built by alliance. Very glad I'm back cause after watching anchor vids, come find out, I didn't shit bro. Playing all wrong. Stacking same colors for raids, war, tournaments..etc. watched anchor vids and payed attention, my dyslexic ass has trouble comprehending or paying attention. 80+ days back and pulled Alucard in Oct. Idk. I. Still had tetulla on my defense. Lol. Thanks. #Lomax'sRaiders #g-train210
I find Sobek better than Lepus, Lepus just has average mana after his debuff. Sobek hits HARD, gets through bonuses and has 60% of hurting even more
Sobek might be the best hero in the game, up to %700 damage to all enemies is RIDICULOUS!!

Welcome back, sir! Thanks for the vid. I have to agree with some of the pundits here, Sobek has been an absolute beast, if you can get him to go off twice, the match is pretty much over, and he pairs extremely well with other blues and even with greens. I also have to throw a shout out to my Lady of the Lake.. she's very effective in every aspect of the game - not just P2P match-ups, but is vital on Map stages, Tower Events, etc.. Stay well! :-)

New sub here. Love the videos and getting the low down on heroes. Still in my first year in playing and slowly building the army. 5*’s just not too viable since the ascension mats are super difficult to get.

Tough to bring it down to just 22 heroes. I watched your LB videos again today, and even though they're only 6 months old, they already pretty outdated with all the new heroes! Time to do a quick update on LB recomendations by colour, perhaps only A and A+ 5*"s to keep it simple?
Yeah I decided I will be making the second version with all new heroes that were released after the fact, giving it a little time but home to have them around the end of the year.

Honestly, when I'm facing a defense, Alfrike going off is still by far the biggest disaster I face (I know she runs very slow)--not to mention that she's hands down, no question the best hero on rush. And no honorable mention for Congalach (spelling)?! 310% × 5 hits plus a debuff is catastrophic, even running slow.

I think it's an awesome list. I have Quenell. That's it. None others, which shows the magnitude of the game. There are just so many options.

I think SG knows which characters are the best because they don't give me any of them. I have no five star knights at all, I have all the Easter heroes, but no Master Lepus (certainly no costume) no Alaise or costume, no Guardian Panther or Kong (I have Guardian Owl)

Why are they coming out with all these new heroes and they don't give Telluria back her stats? It's unbelievable!!

I think Lu Bu is a dark horse. His skill is quite powerful with his fiends blocking buffs etc. Before they fixed it, his fiend blocked Lidenbrock 100% she couldn't cleanse, heal or heal over time. To have a skill that negates one of the strongest healers in game is powerful. But even with that fix he hits hard and has great stats.

Personally I would have picked Sobek and also possibly Tethys over c.Lepus but you can't really go wrong with any of those. Black Knight along with other taunt heroes all deserves a honorable mention. C.Kad and other dodge heroes should deserve a honorable mention as well.
To choose only 22 5* heroes with what the game has is definitely not easy, I'm sure there are plenty of heroes that people liked that were left out however do keep in mind the title of this video is "22 in 2022" which has taken a lot of consideration from the current meta of the game and that might change at any given time with buffs/nerfs/introduction of new heroes. So don't look at this as the finalized list of all cause/time but just as an information piece on what's good to have/use for how the game is today.

I'm a big Heimdall fan. I love to see that horn blow. It's got me out of trouble lot's of times.
Good list. I only have about half of them. I'm surprised Mother North Costume didn't even make the honorable mention list. I know she's slow, but if you have her, you use her.
She was extremely close but essentially not useful on titans and fringe on defense but one of my favorite all time on offense

The list seems to be pretty accurate. I have got the El Nadahha and GP costume 2 month ago and they are absolutely insane!
i can vouch for C.Alaise being that good. on offense, she can completely shut down things you DON'T want going off like ludwig or alfrike as long as you get blue tiles.
Zhang Fei Can also soft-counter G. Panther if he goes off first.
I'm also shocked you didn't put Dark Lord on your list. was good before the buff but is insane afterwards.
I would of also included Papyros. this guy is a beast of a tank and will keep your team alive creating 14% HP minions off of 1882 HP stat after emblems and limit break. not to mention a chance to give boosted health. this could amount to 400 pseudo health (from boosted and minion) as well as 30% defense. his passive damage could also be a nusance.

Don't really know who I would swap out on the list, but I think some of the best heroes right now is Oceanus, Arco and Goseck

Her costume deff almost made it but the original is slightly better
@@AnchorGamed I switched to Ariel's costume after I maxed her costume, despite only boosting health, her mana gain fill up all allies' mana fast and made them keep firing their specials

@@magakievil1872 don't underestimate boosted health it's a "God send" ability as a top player once put it, a good rule of thumb to rate a healer is can they boost health or cleanse, and c.Ariel is both.
@@darian7916 I didnt underestimate her boosted health, in fact I am able to team both C Vivica n C.Ariel together in a team without them overwriting each other's special. Simply love C.Ariel's costume TTM!

I always see Black Knight in the top tier lists so surprised he is not there. Great list though.
Goseck is amazing, definitely top 5!
A few heroes I think could be mentioned. Don't know if in the first 22. Like Cristóbal and Rayne. Maybe Black Knight Costume. Also Eloise and Roc Costume. These I have. One that I don't and I think would be great having is Oceanus. Otherwise I don't really agree with this list. There are very few heroes in it that I would avoid going against. Khufu is one. Of course, it is very difficult to make these kind of lists. Maybe using different criteria. Like, best against Titans, or best in defence, or offence. Or against minions. And so on. Could make it easier to agree on and also include more heroes. Again, that would require more time. So, I thank you for your work and I truly appreciate all you do for us.

How would you rate Lu Bu? I think he should have been somewhere in the list. Also Quintin and Wolfgang.
Call me crazy, but Kalo (a 4 star) is insane - even after the speed nerf. Paired with the right characters he can provide a lot of value.
Kale just owned me. I’m running a solid 5* team at over 5100 power. I had his team down to just him and one other then he fired off Afrike’s special followed by MotherNorth’s which of course resurrected the whole team. I never recovered.
Mr Pengi was my first 5 start when i started and i leveled him all the way up and retrardly used him to level up Magni. This was before i joined an alliance or new anything about the game. Haven't gotten him back yet..
That's why u always lock your characters.
Alfrike*2 + Xnolphod + Onyx + Guardian Panther Costume = Hello, Darkness, my old friend.
6:20 you used melina's old passive in the portrait vs her new one which gives 10% mana with a 50% chance on first charge, and 100% on the 2nd charge :)

Kalø has saved my team so many times
For sheer fun and loads of hitting power Congalach. 320% hits 5 times on a titan makes you smile. Won’t go into all the perms of his powers. But don’t dismiss because he’s slow he’s well worth the wait ;p
In my opinion Lewana is better than C. Lepus. Better stats, better class, stay at fast always, blocked all this talents skills. And that's all just for -20% of special damage. Also I am interesting about Khepri. Paired with another fiend summoner she may be devastating.
Lewena was strong, but it’s a color difference and unfortunately Octros and Costume Guardian Kong edge her out just a little bit, not to mention Ruby is insane and Garnet is essential. I love Lewena
I really wish they would revive so of the older hero’s! Like Sartana, Magni. Just to mention a few. It gets tiresome always realizing my old hero’s suck compared to the new ones. Especially when I do summon after summon -and I get 5 MORIS!! I finally got Black Knight and I guess he’s not worth much anymore….
Don't kid yourself with bk. That one* is still a beast. I just pulled him recently and tanked him on my raid defense. Even in today's world he's still a very valuable hero. Just gotta build around him. Getting heros that share defense while he's active makes everyone's damage go up significantly. Test it out. He's still very wanted by many. Ps been playing for 3 years and was super happy to pull him.

Just a few days ago i got this completly overpowered new Bard. Rhys ... hes far from done but he alredy feels very powerful. boost to hp and atk, alters yellow shields and the cleanse on a fast champ... I wonder where you would rank him... probably higher then Xnolphod? ^^

Garnet is the only ninja i don't have. I have the 4 and 5*.. I spent way too much money during this past tower quest trying to get that little ninja
Looks like my roster of Sartana, Khagan , Lianna and Rigard can all relax. How much cash does it take to even get one of these Top 22.
I'm cheap to play so I've never seen the vast majority of heroes mentioned. I do have Hulda and Ariel though! With that said, I thought heroes like Magni costume, Kara, or even Hanitra might have made the list.

Sobek should be in top 5. Hypnos is also top 3 in red in offense team.
What about good sniper like dark lord or big attack booster like oceanus
Many cards are old versions before buff, like starfall and magic families
How can master lepus even be on this list with guardian panther, naddaha or quenell?
I agree with guardian Panther costume but it's too OP, she was good prior to the costume, especially being an Elemental down hero.
Impossible list - I’ve been using papyrus and Zhang Fei - surprised not to see him or a couple other chinese 5*
Eloise for me it's one of the best yellows in the game
Nyx and hypnos are lethal on the same team.

If ariel is near the list Aino should be too with her minus mana regeneration to opponent. Sobek deals serious damage with his bypass. Zekena fast big damage. Guan yu nice damage with nasty defense debuff.
Maybe you can do something like that, but with 4* heroes?

I think Aino is a great hero! 5 Star blue healer, that heals, cleanses ailments, AND slows mana generation!
She works a lot better with other Kalevala heroes to boost defense against the strong color.
i feel like gosek should be top 10 him mixed with bobo has helped me numerous times on offense
I really do like Obakan, the ancient 1 season heroe, but with 2 costumes. With limitbreak this is a monster ;-) (sorry for my bad English - I am German)

Just how lucky are the ones who got some of those heroes. I've only played this game for a bout a year so I'll probably get some of the best heroes at some point. And I've already been lucky to get Hanitra. Just still need some items so max her up.

Don’t have any of these heroes. Shocking.
I would delete the heros out of the list which are for special uses i.e. titan ... khufu. Such Heros with special usage are plenty in this game, all Taunt heros, Mother North, Alfrike, Miki, Leonidas Costume etc. My top Heros are Heros which can be used everywhere, such as Wolfgang, Lewena, Hypnos and Sobek. But its very difficult to make Ranking Lists, everyone has other prioritys. Its a good list, every hero is great in the list. Quintin is not a fan of beeing behind Quenell :-)

This list is such a revolving door when you factor new characters every week to two weeks, buffs, and nerfs. Kalo would have made the list if not for nerfs, due to how bonkers he was when he came out. Almost need a monthly vid on this like ESPN .
