    There are some inaccuracies in the information here... The abacus was not in Rome in 2400 BC... Rome did not even exist as a state until about 500BC.

    Thank you for posting. I’m looking for a long detailed explanation of the history of calculation but haven’t run across any on RUclips. I still nonetheless appreciate your explanation.

    They have a reconstructed calculator on their BBC program they said Leibniz designed. I don't understand these shows. I am talking about a fully automated machine in binary code that does your calculations, 400 years ago.

    Sikh and Punjabi are Indians. Mayan is a a Native American of the Americas. Both South Asians and Native Americans of Central America had complex Civilization so the word Indian is confusing.

    @kmsmartboy you just have to accept the fact that the development of mathematics is the contribution of many different civilizations, chinese, islam, indian, and west. it's completely and absolutely absurd to think that science and maths is created in india only, although you hope so, but sorry it's not true. open ur mind and accept the fact
