A few didn't, sadly I dont remember the subjects, but I did ask why?

Denver international is a mile above sea level, so the air is a lot less dense there than most other class b airports. Less air density means planes need more runway to takeoff and land. As a result, the primary runway is 1/3 longer (16000ft vs 12000ft, almost a mile longer) than that of LAX, which is at sea level. It's also the gateway between the West and the rest of the US and about halfway between Canada and Mexico, so it's a big hub for regional activity, and I believe there's also a fair amount of local GA activity, so it requires several runways (it has 6, where LAX has 4) and a lot of facilities to support all its operations, which all take considerable space. That's why it's so big

Once I was there and they had a giant air conditioner inside that LITERALLY had flames coming out the vents at the top. I found a security guard and told him about it and he laughed at me. Then I got on the plane for a thankfully short domestic flight on Philippine Airlines. The cabin smelled so strong of exhaust that it burned my eyes. Then when I landed, they lost my luggage and I wouldn’t have gotten it back if it didn’t have apple air tags in it. It still took a week.

Many here are likely too young to remember the old airport. It was really scary to fly into and out of it. The reason being because the incline to land and depart was frickin' steep! And they had to cut the engines do to all the residential areas around them. So you're on a plane, feeling like you are free falling, with no engines. I only flew there when I was a kid, but at 13, I remember it well.
As for the new airport, all that shit is there. I think they've covered a few of the really disturbing murals, but I did see them myself. First time I saw the blue horse the first think you do thin of is WTF. When you're not prepared for the lunacy there, it's disturbing.

So therefore any people who attribute conspiracy to these strange happenings is written off because "who would be dumb enough to advertise their secret society?" One thing I wanted to mention is our public art policy. 1% of all civic improvement projects in Denver over 1 million dollars have to have 1% of their budget set aside for art installations. So for a 4 billion dollar airport that comes out to 40 million dollars. The interesting thing about the policy is that the art can not be taken down because a bunch of people decide they don't like it. It can only be taken down by the request of people on the Public Art Commission or the artist themselves. Just a little history lesson. All Hail Blucifer!!

Also interesting, by googling the mural artist (Leo Tanguma), I learned that he and his family have been deeply hurt by the allegations of conspiracy and having the murals called demonic. In the Peace mural, he incorporated the faces of kids who had been killed by gang or abuse violence at the request of their grieving mothers. Are the murals in an odd location? Yeah, but they have a good message and they're well done. People need to get over it.

I'm surprised he didn't have any conspiracy theories on the twenty missing gates of concourse B! It's one of these odd things that gates 21 through 40 (I think) are just simply not on the B concourse. But, I had one odd flight where I ended up having to get on a bus and they drove me out to another building off the airport where then magically these gates appear. Being a native Coloradan, DIA has always been a weird conundrum of politics for us. I mean, who really thought it was a bright idea to make a roof be a tent in a climate that can get over 48 inches of snow? Although, it did make it though the big snow storms, so it has worked out in that sense so far. DIA is defiantly one thing we locals complain about most. It's still just one very quirky airport. Oh, and apparently that state of the art baggage system is still sitting out in a field just rusting away. That at least a couple billion of our good ol' tax dollar's doing great work here.

Yes, the Appaloosa is an American breed developed by the Nez Perce tribe in the PNW. Known for their amazing spotted coats, thick hind quarters and very short mane and tales. The Nez Perce developed it at their camp by the Palouse river. Settlers would travel from all over to get these horses that bred to be on their landscapes. It soon became "a palouse horse", then became an appaloosa. Its mostly rocky desert terrain in eastern WA.
The US army wiped out majority of the breed and as such, is an open breed book in attempts to recreate the original. Which they pretty much have achieved. They also have their new breed called the Nez Perce horse. The tribe, ourselves, still sell and ship them. Still Bred not far from where the original breed was crafted. Anyways...😂

Seriously, though, I'm not afraid of flying and I actually love to go in planes. The biggest reason I sit in the back when I get a choice of seats is that the window seats often get taken sooner nearer to the front of the plane and I like to take the unique opportunity of flying in a plane to look down.

Now that creek is opened with a trail along it that moves commuters and recreation thru several neighborhoods in north central Denver.
Also, the airport had one runway over the freeway which was fun for plane spotting AND... Stapleton is the airport where many of the scenes for whichever Die Hard movie was the airport one.

Labeling it “conspiracy theory” as if all of these different thoughts or opinions that something nefarious lies underneath always get debunked and thrown on the pile shows a lack of awareness of what’s happening around you. JFK was absolutely whacked will the help of George HW Bush’s CIA as well as other US government across. People that are completely dismissive are the seasons the fairytale known as the Warren Commission report is still the official narrative. Similarly, if you are still calling 9/11 a conspiracy theory, all you need to do is watch WTC 7 being imploded or better yet, look up British television report it’s collapse while standing in front of a live shot where you can see the building standing completely intact. The blind dismissal of other opinions gives us the 9/11 commission’s absurd conclusions as the official narrative. The entire point being that it’s not such a huge jump to believe that something else is going on at this airport. To completely dismiss it as conspiratorial shows a level of ignorance the perpetuation of which has brought us to the brink of collapse as a country.

There were extra security checkpoints as there was unrest in Hong Kong at the time. That was my personal HELL. I resisted the urge to throw up in the Japanese checkpoints (there were no restrooms until after) and when I tell you I threw my bags at my family at the sight of the first restroom, they knew it was bad news. 😅 The best part? After I absolutely spilled my guts, I realized this was a FANCY Japanese toilet. I proceeded to play with all the buttons out of curiosity. My mom finally came in and was like "honey, are you okay in there? We have to hurry" As I'm warming up the toilet seat, to which I meakly replied "uh, yeah, I'll be right out." 😂 Hopefully my next pass through Asia is a more pleasant one.

The runway extends out over the water and you can’t see the asphalt from where you are sitting but the pilots can so it’s just an optical illusion but it’s really cool! You actually get some sense of what a water landing might look like right before the plane would hit the water! Not all runways are like that but the one I always ended up with was that one! SFO is also such a beautiful and unique airport. Now I live in Las Vegas and this airport is like a little city! Three or four terminals and not in the same area either! Denver is smack in the middle of the country, which would make it a good place to switch over planes to get where you are going. I remember driving across the country to Colorado. Half of Colorado is on the great plains, so you feel like you are driving on the worlds biggest pancake for hours. It is soooooo flat! Then all of a sudden, in the distance, you see a thin, grey line that stretches from north to south as far as you can see. The line grows bigger and bigger into a massive line of distinct mountains. Its really something to see. Then you arrive in Denver, right at the foot of the mountains. Some people stop there for a week before continuing on into the mountains, in order to avoid altitude sickness. I was pretty young. We continued on to Leadville- a few hours into the mountains, and one of the highest towns on earth. There were no flies, and the few ticks and fleas on our dog died and fell off within a few days. Driving was quite treacherous, esp in the winter, but there were many hairpin turns over steep 100 foot drops. The wildlife and scenery were quite wonderful.
Anyway, you should do an article about missing 411- its a good topic to bring attention to. Some people believe bigfoot or something supernatural is hunting in national parks. But the thing is, that no one in the US is really recognizing that its a great place for serial killers and pedophiles to hunt, because when the missing people aren't found in the woods after a week or so, the government assumes they got lost in the wilderness and doesn't do any more investigation. Plus, there's a problem with jurisdiction, that leads to a lack of investigation, and a lack of official knowledge of how many people have disappeared in certain areas, some of which are clusters of disappearances. But a lot of the disappearances are extremely weird, and its good to know before bringing children or loved ones to certain places.

I just returned from a trip to Rome. I had no problems going there. But coming home, I found that my boarding pass had been randomly selected by ITA Airways for "extra screening". So after going through the boarding area, I was redirected to stand in another line. I had to open my two carry-on bags and watch the agent swab their interiors with some mystery substance. Then I had to empty my pockets and undergo the same mystery swab process in my pockets. The agents then put the swabs in some kind of machine for analysis. I guess it was to detect bomb-making materials, weaponry, or some other whatnot. I wound up as literally the last person to board the plane, though I'd been in the middle of the line queuing up to board. What an effing nightmare.

Hmm in Belgium they do that as part of the baggage check process. You empty your pockets, send your stuff through the scanner, you walk through the metal detector, and when you go to grab your baggage one of the agents at the station kinda grabs it first and goes "Can we check your baggage?" and does the swab thing right there. It takes like 20 seconds.
And indeed, this is purely random. No dogs are going through the line at the baggage checkpoint to sniff the suitcases and nobody would ever visually peg me (white Belgian woman) for a firearms user or bomb maker.

Having worked in a company where there was a large area that was to be divided into offices along the wall where the windows were, I think it is safe to say that whatever went on down under the airport is most likely a result of human error in the department of calculations and basic geometry. In the company I worked in, I watched as the builders - architect, designers, craftspeople, work people - proceeded to build these office spaces (so three walls only since the window wall was already there) along that long windowed wall. Once all the dividing walls had been built, the front walls with the doors, and the electrics installed (this all took several months of a lot of noise going on in the area next to the research and development department, the designers' area, purchasing and materials departments, and all the people associated with these departments - so a lot of inconvenience of noise and dust and chaos), well, once all that stopped, it was discovered that due to a small miscalculation, one of the offices was the width of a chair. Oops! So all the walls had to be taken down and the whole thing done all over again with new calculations. I had seen that little corridor of a space between two offices and wondered what it was for. Someone actually put a chair in it. So everyone except the builders noticed this strange space? After that experience, nothing surprises me in the possibilities of error when it comes to construction.

The thing you have to realize is when the City of Denver decided to build a new airport in the 1990's, they built it like 25 miles east of town. The new airport is on land that was originally in a completely different county. Their old airport had the city grow up around it so the city acquired a huge tract of land to put the new airport on. Also being a mile high and with hot summers they have to have much longer runways.

About the baggage system: Idk about other countries, but one of my favorite things about Manila's airport is that at the baggage claims, they have little screens that play video feed of the airport staff receiving the baggage deliveries somewhere in the airport's bowels and transferring them onto the conveyor belts. You can watch them go from carrying each luggage to the belt (first few pieces) to just flinging stuff in the belt's general direction (last few pieces).

Funny thing, the "EMP blew out windows" is probably the most believable thing in here. Aircraft windows for the crew have heaters in them for defrosting and ice control, so they literally have wires and elements inside. If they get too hot the window will shatter.
I learned that when I had to replace a pilots windscreen on a C-130 because of a short that basically resulted in the window heat turning on full blast. I replaced window #2. #1 clued us in that there may be a problem.

    • @SkunkApe407

    • @SkunkApe407

    • @Plaprad
      @Plaprad Год назад +1

@@SkunkApe407 Then let's try it this way. Window heat is done by an electrical heater element inside the window. If the heater gets too hot, it will cause the pane to shatter. An EMP can cause damage and overloads in electrical systems. Therefore, there is a chance that an EMP may cause the heater to heat up the window potentially causing it to shatter.
There is no pressure wave or anything to cause it, just electricity. The one I mentioned in my OP was caused by a simple shorted wire. I probably saw about a dozen aircraft windscreens damaged due to faulty or malfunctioning heaters in my time. So it is 100% possible for a heater element to damage a window, which is why I said it was believable for an EMP to cause an electrical malfunction that would damage the window.
I'm going by some of my experiences gained over fifteen years or aviation maintenance. I've had to troubleshoot and repair these systems countless times on several airframes.

Oh Simon, I have to rant really quick.
Just went through the Atlanta airport earlier this month. I was traveling with my husband and two kids aged 1 and 4. Had all the shit to keep them occupied; Switches(mine and my daughters) her tablet. Okay that was only 3 things I suppose, but anyways, while waiting in the security check line, I thought I'd be smart and take all the electronics out of my bag so I could just throw them in the bins when it was time. Big mistake apparently. This TSA woman was yelling "REMOVE SHOES, BELTS, WATCHES, EVERYTHING FROM YOUR POCKETS. ELECTRONICS STAY IN YOUR BAG"
She repeated this twice while I was waiting to show my ID and what not, but I wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying at the time. Afterwards, I was still reeling trying to put my ID away and get my four year old. You know, it's freaking chaos. So I looked at her and said "Wait, what? I don't need to remove my electronics?" This woman, oh my lanta. She just looked at me and repeated her earlier statement, in the same obnoxiously loud, monotone "I resent you for existing" voice as before, looking at me directly in the eyes. The amount of rage I felt towards that woman in that moment was immense.

Thanks for doing this one, Danny and Simon. This conspiracy theory has always cracked me up - it's beyond ridiculous.
I work for a major municipality and the amount of tunnels under and behind infrastructure is mind boggling - the utility corridors and service pathways needed to support what looks like a 'simple' airport or rail station are no joke. Also, digging underground is hard and often disruptive - if a municipality is building something that they know/ believe will be expanded, they'll often build the underground infrasteucture needed for the future expansions - that way the expansions can go quickly and be done without the likely time/financial over-runs that are inevitable during of the initial phase of construction.
That said, the art committee were clearly oxygen deficient when they made their artist selections, but apart from that - its just a bloody big airport that's probaly going to get bigger in the coming years.

Regarding these secret airport facilities, you should look into some of the documents released in recent years regarding the JFK assassination. One of these documents from the 1990s review board describes a facility intended to be an emergency replacement for the CIA, that is readily accessible by the public, and has relatively frequent incidents of members of the public accidentally taking a wrong turn and needing to be turned back. The redactions on this document cover numerous small segments of the text where the name of the facility is clearly a 3-letter acronym (They used a fixed-width font!... my eyes rolling... "Secrecy" wink). From the rest of the document you can easily tell from the context that they are describing an airport. They describe it as ideal for the comings and goings of agents to blend in with the public while travelling to and from their missions around the world, and "security" being a convenient excuse for preventing public access. I'm not saying it's the Denver airport, but there certainly exists a facility on that scale, operating in plain sight enjoying a very thin veil of secrecy. What's that got to do with the assassination? Who knows, but they still have redacted the name of the place in current documents.

So much conspiracy around Bluecifer. I thought it was widely understood that a blue horse was selected as the airport mascot because the professional football team headquartered in Denver happens to be the Denver Broncos. Their team colors are blue and orange. I think the odd choice of artwork can be pretty easily explained by the recent destruction of the Berlin wall signaling an end to the cold war between the US and USSR or Russia. After decades of practicing civil defense drills in elementary schools in preparation of being bombed, many Americans were finally starting to feel optimistic about maybe not dying any moment in a 3rd world war.
