    So sweet, sharing your great find with your assistants. They seemed very impressed. Think they took some credit for leading you there. Love seeing them, and your bold manner in having them with you! They are a welcome sight, as much if not more than your finds. Thanks, for the joy you bring through their presence. What a great day of hunting.

    I bet the person who lost the ring, the 1st target, was very upset when they lost that beauty!! I haven't seen it cleaned up yet but I bet it's an awesome ring! Congratulations my friend!! Absolutely a neolithic flake blade circa 19,000 to 9,000 BC! You can find lots of pictures of similar blades all over the internet. You seem to be on quite a gold streak lately! I been here in Germany 6 months and ain't found any gold yet. Lots of medieval, Roman, and even bronze age but no gold! Thanks for sharing and Happy Hunting, Dave.

      @MetalDetecting24  6 лет назад

      Hallo Dave, thank you for watching and for the info. Yes, I have been very lucky with gold lately. Usually when I find it, I'm assuming that this was probably the last gold item for the next weeks, months, or maybe even forever. But this proves, how unpredictable this hobby can be. And that's the most exciting part about it...
      Have a great evening & Happy Hunting.

    • @MetalDetecting24
      @MetalDetecting24  6 лет назад +1

      Hello Linda, the blade is made of flint stone. The detector can react to some stones, but not to this one. It was pure coincidence, I saw it laying there. In this case the detector didn't had anything to do with it.

    Awesome finds the gold ring and the blade wow Now can you tell me what detector you are using and what pinpointer I love that you can take it completely apart And you pin pointer does not scream I know you have told us before I'm sure but I forgot. I love there no cord and can break down so small thanks

    • @MetalDetecting24
      @MetalDetecting24  6 лет назад

      Hello, the detector is called "XP Deus" (with 9" "HF" coil). The pinpointer is a Garrett (it must be this model: garrett.com/hobbysite/hbby_pro-pointer_2_main_en.aspx )
      I taped the speaker to make it quieter (it doesn't have any settings like the orange waterproof version).
      The tip is already heavily worn out, but it turned out to be an "advantage", because the shorter distance makes it more sensitive to small objects. I hope it helps.

      P.s. Es gibt einen Nachteil bei manchen, starken Signalen (direkt unter der Spule). Es passiert zwar selten, diese können aber in den 4-ten Ton "rutschen". Wenn Du auf Nummer sicher gehen willst, dann stelle das Program von 4-Ton auf 3-Ton um und setze den korrekten G.B. Wert. Danach ist zwar mein "63 G.B." Trick weg, aber es gibt keine Risiken.

Did you notice the face on the back of that bug that was playing with you, amazing. Congrats on the stone age discovery, true artifact. Roman nails always get me into the video hoping for you to discover a coin or other artifacts. Your trash often time would be good discoveries for me. Thanks for sharing your discoveries and commentary about the items.

    • @MetalDetecting24
      @MetalDetecting24  6 лет назад

      Thank you. The nails are giving me hope as well, but for some reason it (often) just ends there. I have a theory about the Romans using slaves. Nails in their sandals could have been the only metallic objects they possessed (except of some iron tools). It's just my imagination.
      The area has been detected (and probably still is), but even then, something should still pop out from time to time (especially in difficult and changing terrain conditions like this).
      Have a great day.

      MetalDetecting24 - Diesen Gedankengang habe ich auch oft... Faszinierend. Ein kleines bisschen wird davon jedes Mal wahr, wenn man einen Gegenstand in der Hand hält, den zuletzt jemand vor hunderten/tausenden Jahren zuletzt in der Hand hatte. Es entsteht eine direkte Verbindung. Aber das Ganze mal
      mit den eigenen Augen sehen.... na mal abwarten, was die Technik noch so bringt. :)

    I like the way 24 doesn't talk, or plaster his face on RUclips like many other detectorists!! He's not in it for posterity. 24? Have you gotten many new Subs?? I've posted your channel on a couple sites here in the US. Is there really that much gold jewelry out there in the woods, or are your Assistants that good at finding it for you??? LOL

    • @MetalDetecting24
      @MetalDetecting24  6 лет назад

      Hello Mr. Beepers, thanks you for the kind words and the support. I think, the assistants are just finding all the gold that is there. When we scan a small fraction of a forest, it's probably right where the gold is :).
      Thank you once again, have a great day.

    Nice gold ring, someone was sad at its loss I'm sure. Roman vineyards = Roman nails? Seems reasonable.
    I think I've worked out what the problem is with the pixelation of the close-ups. I can solve it by viewing at 720/60. The picture is still as good as 1080/60. My guess is that the macro camera is 720 and your main camera is 1080 so when viewed at 1080 the 720 sections can't keep up. This may be fixable at upload. I know that YT can change things when you upload.
    GL & HH. It has been a good summer but perhaps not for climbing up those loose and potentially dangerous hills. Be careful!

    • @MetalDetecting24
      @MetalDetecting24  6 лет назад +1

      Hello, thank you for the comment.
      Both cameras are recording in 1080p, FPS (30 vs 60) is the only difference. I really don't know what could be causing the issue. When I watch it (scaled down) on my PC (on 1028x1024px resolution screens) everything seems fine. Hmm...
      P.s. I will try to be careful, thanks again.
