The instrument that looks like a guitar or acoustic guitar is actually a traditional Kazakh instrument called "dombra". We can see him using this instrument in the songs "Dudarai" and "Adai+Daididau" or as part of the Durdaraz arrangement!
I don't know about the other dears but for me, this is one of his best performances. Everything is there, innovative music and sounds, choreography and dancers, absolutely fantastic, and Dimash's voice, sublime as always. A true work of art. Bravo Dimash, he continue to dazzle us with his great creativity.🔥🔥🥰❤

Most of us I think love it. I know I do. I do hope he does not totally go pop because I think he is far too talented to do that but he will do what he will do and I will be here for it . The only way he would lose me is to do trashy stuff which I just do not see him doing.

I don't want to burst your bubble but to enter the US market, first one must have a contract with the music industry. It is art but it is also business...show business. To go mainstream, all the Dears must push him up and forward on all social and musical platforms.
The American music industry knows exactly who Dimash is and what a gold mine he could be for them but , Dimash won't sign (so far). Dimash has once made it clear in an interview that he can't be told what to do, what to sing, what to wear etc... Nonetheless, Dimash has his own production company and as an independent artist, he is someone to be reckoned with in the industry.
I love that Dimash is experimenting with music, with genres and mixing it all in one. His versatility is fantastic. This song in particular, I don’t know, I’m slowly growing to it. Reactions like yours help me in that process. I‘m in love with „When I‘ve got you“.

So, he first sang this song in his recent concert, and then he released a teaser, then , 3 days ago he released the song, itself, on Spotify, and then 2 days ago, he released this performance video....but it doesn't stop there! But since he already sang this song for the first time live in Hong Kong, and the video wasn't ready to release (I believe), Dimash published in Instagram that he did this performance antecipating the new MV that the Dears are expecting for a long time. I love this one. Dimash was in LA writing & working with other producers for most of last year, so he is exploring different ideas. He has always mixed genres of music & now he's going even further with it. He never disappoints.

When asked about his musical style preferences (he likes them all), he added that for his own compositions, he was heading towards a neo-classical crossover style.
We certainly can hear that style in some of his latest compositions, with his operatic notes fitting in perfectly with other genres.
When I’ve Got You went to #1 in Poland, and Dimash wasn’t incredibly well known there, yet😂❤️
