Connect and configure Thrustmaster t80 ferrari 488 gtb edition in the Forza Horizon 4. Before
уou need to install the latest driver from the official site( support.thrust... ).
In the game you must enter the settings, control settings, on the steering wheel press the PS button, go to the wheel tab, in the tab layout select Custom Wheel Profile, manually adjust all movement of the steering wheel, buttons and pedals below, then press space, make the necessary settings( my settings: stering axis deadzone outside-100; stering axis deadzone inside-5; stering linearity-0 ), then press Accept, Save, Back. Guys unfortunately I had the same steering wheel and it doesn't work well with the game at all. I ended up buying the theustmaster T150 and it works great with game with no issues at all
if you use ps4 then the T150 is better
but if you use pc 180 is better
using the T80 in Horizon 4 on pc right now...set up took a bit, but it feels pretty good IMO. What was or wasn't it doing for you Hemi?

Do you think it's worth buying a steering wheel with better quality but with 240 degrees or buy one with less quality and 270 degrees (THRUSTMASTER T80 Ferrari 488 GTB 240 degrees) and (Subsonic Pro GS 700 270 degrees)

when in settings, go to advanced and then all the way down to the last option, which is Steering sensitivity. I had to turn mine down to 20 to get it anywhere near sensible.
@@l-momme6804 Also, I would recommend going to steering dead zone and turn it up to 10-15. That helps it so those little micro turns from the wheel snapping back don't send you flying off and makes it much easier to keep it straight on flat.

I also bought T80 after purchasing Porza Horizon 4 from Steam. The PC was recognized and I can do it in Project Cars 2, but not in Horizon.

Does this work for pc? All ones I have found are for PS4
well it may be a little late, but yea, this "works" on pc. Not saying all games will or that it is best pc option... but you can plug up and use it on your pc for certain games.

@@larrixlarrix473 I've used it for Horizon 4 & 5 (plug and play), The Crew(takes some binding keys/pedals but does work), BeamNG(plug and play), Wreckfest (plug and play), ProjectCARS (some key binding, works well), Asetta Corsa (plug and play).

I honestly don't know how i fixed it, but for the first 5 minutes it wouldn't pick the wheel up in game. And as I'm flipping options around in Wheel tab, it pops up preset options. It has been working fine since. Also I unplugged and plugged it back up 2 or 3x.

guessing you fixed it in the past 11 months... but if not, have you ensured your pedals are firmly secured on the floor? When I first set mine up, thought it was messed up, but the actual pedal base was lifting up with the pedal.

Is there a lag in this steering wheel?
I've only played about 2hrs with the T80 in FH4 on pc, and I haven't noticed a bit of lag. When in in-car view you can wiggle the wheel and see it is shown 1to1 in game. The gas pedal i am having a little delay with though, but I bought a used unit so no idea if hardware or software on that.

This is a good steering wheel in this price range. But if you have the opportunity, then take a look at the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT Edition
