Not always, but the editor of this video deserves a promotion. All of the important plays were shown, with none of the fluff.
Same ol' Mariners...tough time to be a Seattle sports fan in general.
When the Mariners posted a video here on RUclips called "A New Chapter," I pointed out that it was just going to be more of the same (struggling) and casual fans lost their minds hating on me. Unfortunately, here we are...again.

Both Berios and Bassit pitched out of their minds this Series, and yet the games were close because our pitching staff cant stop giving up Homers -_-
Always gotta find somthing to chirp about. They won, giving up Homer's don't matter, as long as they won its fine.
@@PancakeGurlyou’re right, the win is what matters. But saying “giving up homers doesn’t matter” is a bad mindset because in important games/playoffs we’ll need our bullpen to step up because giving up two home runs late in a game every time will be the reason we don’t make it far

@@PancakeGurl of course I’m happy that we won. But considering that in this young Season the Jays Pitching staff has given up over 20 Homers already, it is concerning long term.

It's nice to see Biggio starting to finally hit and become part of that trio that grew and played with each other In Biggio, Bichette and Guerrero and hopefully these guys can have the type of career there dads did.

As long as our ownership stays where it is I have chosen to abandon all optimism. They are paying mediocre salaries for mediocre players and then telling fans that we're trying to make a playoff run. It's bullshit.

3:03 Look at how Biggio passes the ball as Bichette heads to 2nd base, turning the double play by milliseconds. He didn't pass the ball straight to Bichette, but anticipated his direction on the way to 2nd.

Yeah, that's how you turn a double play. Everyone who watches baseball or plays it should know that.

Despite all the recent pitching injuries, Blue Jays look to have a healthy rotation for most of the year.
We'll see if Gausman is 100%. We're not sure yet.
Always happy to see the M's help other clubs feel better about themselves. Also glad to see our bargain basement Griffey Jr do something - except in the high leverage position he needed to. Go M's!

There’s no way those Bassitt fastballs are 93 MPH. They look way slower than that. The Mariners guy supposedly throwing 98 looks more like 93 while Bassitt’s pitches are probably 88-89.
MLB radar gun juicing is real.
If you only throw 88-89 consistently in 2024, you're not pitching in the MLB.

@@daven8905 The homer call on that double play was a bit much. Jays announcers, especially Shulman and Buck, tend to call very neutral games. (Buck does get a little bias on his home run calls but that's about it). It is quite noticeable watching these highlight packs every game that the vast majority of other team's announcers come across as homers in comparison.

I mean, I get it. And they can do whatever they want, but it will always come across to me as unprofessional.
