Omaeda is not a character I was expecting to give a shit about and get emotional over. Because I mean. It's Omaeda. I did end up emotional over him and the superior-junior relationship between him and Soifon. I'm biased because she's my favorite character, but like Soifon's story is the one in Bleach that gets to me the most overall. It's handled well and there's a lot to find there in it if you go and dig through it, examining things like the relation between her "I'll do anything to survive" mentality, the fact that she is the only surviving sibling out of six, and the fact that her reaction to death and grief is very specifically anger, and how the kind of death she got paired up with in Arrancar presents himself as being something she cannot possibly beat by skill. There is a lot there and it links together in intriguing ways.
I think it's amazing because it shows off her true personality and marks her room for growth. She hates her bankai because its flashy, loud and bombastic and completely unassassin like. Even though Soi Fon is also loud, flashy and bombastic, especially when it comes to Yoruichi. She is very much a show off and she is hot tempered. I also love how it is still a weapon for Assassination. Shikai is low tech and it reminds me of poison. 2 hit kill, whilst bankai is one hit kill and based off of modern tech. Nowadays, stealth isn't required to assassinate someone. Discretion is FAR from necessary because there are countless ways to do it from drone strikes to bombing runs, both of which aren't stealthy in the slightest. When Soi Fon started to accept this, she could use her bankai far more liberally through training and it would probably be one of the most dangerous Zanpakuto
I've ALWAYS loved the fact her Bankai is the PERFECT personification of her true self! She shames her Bankai for being loud, obnoxious and not discret, cause this is how she truly is! One thing we can also see is she's very cocky and is always trying to send this image of cool persona, a calm and collective assassin when she's truly a very immature person. Since Bankais are the phisycal manifestation of one's true soul, her disdain for her Bankai is the perfect metaphor for the fact she doesn't like who she really is and wants to be more recognized by the persona of cold, calm and collected, which is also represented by her Shikai being a deadly and distrect fatal attack, she wants to be seen as that and be able to always deal with stuff with only her Shikai, basically without showing her true self, but in the end, she's not a Shizumebachi, she's a Jakuho Raikouben!
This is true. It reflects her personal hypocrisy too. Until she found out the truth about their deaths, she always held her brothers in contempt for supposedly being incompetent yet she made mistakes that nearly cost her everything and even subverted her own mantra by teaming up with people who have polar opposite philosophies(most notably Ichigo at fake Karakura). It shows that despite all the lives she's taken or tortured for her orders and strict adherence to tradition/laws she's still fallible.
Also if you notice (as if it wasn't long obvious) in the various flashbacks to her past and monologues in CFYOW, it really highlights how awful Soul Society's clan based government is. Sui-Feng spent most of her time defending the Shihouins from other clans than she fought Hollows. With such a divided system it's no wonder they fell quickly to the Quincies.
I feel Soi Fon is also a representation of inner repression. Her zanpaktou spirit is more feminine and girlish than she acts and she fan girls so incredibly hard like she does for a rock superstar. Her shikai kinda represents the silent assassin demeanor and her bankai feels like her inner self screaming out.
@@Crunchysopa52 I feel her character really shines a bit more once you actually understand that. I feel her outbursts and her attitude is based around her repressing her true feelings so whenever she does express them like anger or chewing someone out, it's because she never lets it out so when it does, it all comes out. She also has this petite look and body which makes her appear younger than she is. Like late teen, young adult; those awkward stages of human emotional development.
@@Crunchysopa52 I feel like TYBW was supposed to be her big shine but they didn't pull it off as well. In the zanpaktou Rebellion arc, Suzumebachi says that she needs to become her own person and quit chasing Yoruichi and idolizing who she is. I believe the idea was by losing her zanpaktou to BG9, she was supposed to become that by going and mastering the technique Yoruichi defeated and thus surpassing her. Also the way Omaeda holds her and how they look at each other with trust and confidence feels like this was their moment of maturity that got rushed out the door.

When I first watched Bleach, Soi Fon was one of my favorite girls from the series, maybe even my favorite. I'm probably one of the few people who thought her "annoying personality" was pretty appealing, I just couldn't dislike her. I think that the fact that she tries to act strong while holding all of her emotions inside really makes her character stick out, and seeing her overwhelmed at times makes you feel like you can relate to that same feeling.
Zanpakuto abilities are heavily based on the user's personality, their nature. You'll notice that characters who are true to themselves in public as well as in secret, who wear their nature on their sleeve so to speak, have very similar Shikai and Bankai abilities. Like Gin, Ichigo and Komamura. But those with bigger differences can have *very* different abilities. Like Unahana, Soi-Fon and Tosen. Besides, her shikai is a power type Zanpakuto that kills its targets in 2 hits. The natural evolution would be a stronger power type that kills in one hit. And what better to show that than a fuck-off nuke?
@@UnifiedEntity Ichigo is someone who is direct, blunt even, and very protective of others; always rushing to the frontline to help regardless of the risk/danger to himself. Ichigo's Bankai embodies that. Even his Getsuga Tenshou is all about breaking through obstacles. And in it's purest form is a self-sacrificial ability.
Best girl Soi Fon let's gooo! There are a couple of things that I would like to highlight regarding the fight against BG9. The first is that she doesn't obtain victory with the technique she developed by herself through her own training, but by utilysing the bankai that she got back thanks to Urahara, and by having Omaeda help her aim. This symbolyses her change from a stern and inflexible nature to a kinder one, more accepting of others as well as the parts of herself she was less proud of (namely her bankai which is inadequate to her role as a stealthy assassin). This change is reaffirmed twice in later chapters. Once in chapter 612, where she shows to be more lenient towards her vicecaptain, as remarked by Renji. The other time, two chapters later, when she admonishes Urahara for hesitating in trusting his allies (something he developed since his exile). Also sternritters are more often than not counterparts to the characters that defeat them. In this case the cold machine BG9 represents her colder and stricter side and she beats him by being more flexible.
Soifon is personally my 3rd fav Captain, she grew on me and i love her skills, plus i got a thing for assassins edit: lets be honest, who doesnt worship Yoruichi
There's more to her personality than the typically dangerous tension with her. In CFYOW she and Yoruichi meet with Tokinada to discuss the restoration of the noble houses and the entire time he verbally baits and provokes them but they don't bite. Not only did she show restraint but she also exhibited a disdain for the upper crust nobility and their holier than thou attitude. She finally reached the breaking point when Tokinada revealed that her brothers where deliberately slaughtered as part of the nobility's power plays, not because they were incompetent as she was led to believe. She may be duty bound and nasty but she sure will go all out for those she cares for.
Soi Fon breaking down before Yoruichi was the first time I cried in Bleach. I almost forgot her over the years, but it's the first thing I remember from her
I wish so many other fans saw this because they just say they hate her and they think she’s annoying, but I like her and she’s a very well-written and complex character!
Soi Fon shikai and bankai make so much sense for her character and her back story. Her shikai embodies her as a warrior it best suits her fighting style and the fact she's the ninja corps captain and her bankai show how she want to be noticed by yoruichi.
Soi Fon to me was one of my favorites when on-screen because of how commanding she is. Every battle she faced had to be some of the best of the series except of course Barragan's fraccion each fight and interaction showed how much she had to compensate for losing the one person who she looked up to. She had to become the very thing she looked up to in order to save face and try to regain some of her honor. Great analysis again, gotta love the diversity in just about every character in Bleach and how you can go so in-depth with each of them even though this is a shonen.
I've always found Soi-Fon was always underrated. This was a great analysis, and I wish more people actually took time to look at WHY characters are the way they are before judging whether they are a bad/annoying character.
I love Soi Fon. She pissed me off sometimes, but I grew fond of her when I learnt more about her over time. She also reminds me of a combination of Taki from Soul Calibur and Buttercup from the Power Puff Girls.
11:21 The inside of Soi Fon’s captain’s cloak is the same orange as yoruichi’s outfit. That part of her cloak isn’t normally visible from the outside. It’s like a metaphor for how she cares for yoruichi but hides it on the inside.
I'm still convinced that Soi Fon had romantic feelings for Yoruichi, that it was stronger than mere friendship, admiration, and even obsession. Even if the feelings may or may not have been mutual on Yoruichi's part (it's much more difficult to decipher from Yoruichi because she's never expressed romantic feelings for anyone, neither male nor female). Soi Fon being a lesbian doesn't need to be explicitly stated, even if we're so used to that in a lot anime which handle same-sex relations with the subtlety of a brick to the face and even treats it like a running joke.
That's possible but yet again Yoruichi herself is VERY ambiguous with her personal relations and true feelings with others. Being an assassin cat she only gives what she wants and bottles up the rest. She treats Sui-Feng as her little bee yet not much else. She may be Kisuke's former friend yet she kept her distance from him most of the time etc.
Kinda semi obvious and she kinda admit how impossible her love is. that s explain her hate to Urahara since he and Yoruichi vibly shipped tru out story.
Shippers: They love each other! Me: I always thought it was more of a little sister looking up to her cool big sister. Honestly, I was the same way. I thought Soi Fon was a bit annoying at first until she broke down and asked Yoruichi, "why didn't you take me with you?" I was like, wow, she admired Yoruichi so much she would've betrayed Soul Society too had her mentor simply asked her to. I wonder, how strong would Soi Fon be had she gone with Yoruichi?
My favorite moment in the light novels so far is when Yaruichi explains to Tokanada that since she never uses her Zanpakuto, it's part of her morning routine to "sooth" her Zanpakuto spirit. The reason it's my favorite moment is because Soi-Fon is there and her mind is immediately filled with possibilities as to what Yaruichi meant by that and she becomes jealous of Yaruichi's Zanpakuto. It was such a adorable and interesting moment in an otherwise mundane story.
I’ve always loved soi fon. Such a strong woman yet soft. I also adore her design. I can’t help but to admire female characters who don’t take the traditional “pretty , nice girl” route in a story. She’s hard working, bull headed, and determined plus I can’t help but to head canon her as a lesbian lol so I love her more for that.
@@ryanr4242 I wouldn’t say she was “queer coded” that title doesn’t really fit her at all as she’s not meant to be an antagonist in any way whatsoever.
I’ve watched bleached from the Soul Society Arc to the Fullbringer Arc thanks to watching your videos. Well, except for the Bount arc and the filler arcs in between the major arcs... But still, Now I’m a full Bleach fan
Have you thought about doing a character analysis about Sajin Komamura: THE BEAST. His character design is one of the most unique in the entire series and his connection with Tousen gives him more of an interesting development and back story.
Just got to see this video. I have to say, I have a deeper appreciation for her character than I did. Thank you. I'm glad to be subscribed to this channel.
I have to say soifons character was kind of throwed out the window in like every arc. She managed to get two hits on aizen but then we got hit with the " yes, but actually no". It was kinda stupid.
Yet it makes perfect sense. He's far stronger than her to begin with and we've been told how important spiritual pressure is since the beginning of the series. So when she loses an arm (which would cripple her spiritual pressure) and uses up most of her spiritual energy by using her Bankai twice...I don't see how there could have been any other possible outcome. The frustrating thing is Soi-Fon is always either fighting people still out of her league or super tanks who can resist taking nukes to the face. So we only ever see her potential through comments or when she takes out subordinates like Barragon's Fraccion.
@@esabuu1.046 Soi-Fon I'd argue. Omaeda says that if she can't dodge (or outrun, can't remember his exact words) Barragon's respira, than no-one in the Gotei 13 can. And I don't think that's empty bluster on his part. He should know her speed capabilities better than anyone. As the commander of the Steath Corp, her mastery of shunpo is probably second only to Yaruichi herself. Though I don't think Byakuya is far behind her.
@@esabuu1.046 Byakuya is pretty fast, but most of his danger in terms of speed is from his shikai and bankai which can attack very quickly without requiring him to move too much at all. On the other hand Soi-Fon has no such advantages to the speed of her strikes from her shikai OR bankai, that's all her. I would be interested to see how her speed would hold up to Senbonzakura's abilities, but in a straight up no zanpakutō abilities fight. Soi-Fon no question.
I'd say she also got some development when she rescued Omaeda and his sister from BG9's 'interrogation' and then checking up on their well being. Renji and Rukia's comments relating to that means she's not above it all. Sill Omaeda quitting the Stealth Force for mining postwar means it only goes so far.
tbh at first i didnt like her, but then the fight with Yoruichi happened and we realized that her hatred for Yoruichi was only because Yoruichi didnt take soifon with her. since then she's one of my favorite captains
To be fair, Kubo had way different plans with Bleach than what we got. It seems to me that a lot of the characters were underutilized or wasted potential, and that arguably includes Soi Fon. She probably would have been liked and remembered by the masses if Kubo did what he wanted
Alot of people flame soi fon's bankai saying that it makes no sense but to me it actually does. Her shikai is supposed to be death in 2 hits Her bankai changes it to supposed death in 1 hit Ironically i dont think anyone actually dies from her bankai tho
What i love so much about Soi-Fon is that she's actually very similar to Ichigo. Constant scowl on their faces? Check. Used to be sweeter when younger? Check. Became more harsh and mean after the loss of their mother figure? Check. Have undaunted courage and resolve? Check. Do tend to enjoy fighting and taunting their opponents? Check. Will do anything to defeat their opponent? Check. I think they would make for a great pairing.
I remember not caring too much for her, although I liked her design and stuff. Now I do appreciate her a lot more, like Komamura who is another character often forgotten. With time, I have grown fond of all bleach characters and love them for what they are, as they all have something interesting. Kubo is just great making characters, as many other things.
After so many years she is still one of my favorite female characters! Many reasons why I love her so much: -Being born in basically slave-assassin clan, she worked so hard, that became a captain. Brainwashed from the very young age, forced to be a soldier by clan rulers who told her “You must obey the rules of the soul society, you must die for that person, you must kill without hesitation” - all of this absolutely justifies her cold behavior. But yet she still has soft side. Petite, but strong and fastest. -She is tsundere and pretend to hate her lieutenant, but actually she really cares about him. And he respects her and cares about her too, actually very sweet. Also, since he is from the rich fam - his money helping to innovate the squad building. Bleach bootleg book says that Soifon uses his money to bring the best in the squad and make life of her soldiers more comfortable- automatic doors, warm floors, she is amazing ruler! -Her shikai is amazing. Combination of her speed and ability to kill with two hits really making her perfect assassin. With such abilities she basically doesn’t need to use bankai. (Ofc bankai is for the emergency situations only) -She is very loyal soldier. Her fight with 2nd espada was epic. She lost her hand, but continue to fight without hesitation. I wish she could simp less for Shihouin clan, but eh, feel like kinda Kubo wasted her potential. (Same with Unohana, who deserved a whole arc instead of a couple of chapters.) Yet I love dynamics between Soi and Yoruichi, in additional materials and manga they’re shown way better than in the anime. She’s very beautiful and strong character💙
During the ending of her battle against Yoruichi, I always feel like "Oh, so all those talk about "you are now obsolete", "I'm stronger than you", is all a facade or coping mechanism for her to cover up her true reason: She is very upset that Yoruichi didn't trust her enough to bring her, even though Soifon is absolutely ready to jump into any danger if it's for Yoruichi. And more importantly, she misses her so much, that nothing else ever really mattered. From Yoruichi's POV, it's not about lack of trust. She didn't want to bring soifon because she cares for her and didn't want to ruin Soifon's life and career.
Soifon is totally gay for yuroichi She hates and is jealous uhahara because of his close relationship with yuroichi and the fact she left the gotei for him Also in the soul society arc she seemed more like a spurned lover more than a spurned subordinate
To be fair, Soifon is a hard character to like. She is very overbearing, bossy, strict and arrogant. However, her anger towards Yoruichi for leaving Soul Society makes sense. She admired her and was hurt deeply when she left without saying a word, though her admiration slowly turned into an unhealthy obsession. I think she realised this and strove to become stronger for her own sake.
thank you for giving soi fon her justice, i’ll always stand against the hate for her character simply because people dont really pay close attention to it and just automatically judge or nit pick❤🌵💯
I loved the analysis!! But I feel like there is so much romance between them (her and yourichi) that some people don't pick up on. Everyone has different love languages, you hit some that may go over some people's head

I personally don't have the temperament for hot headed, immature characters. I can see her virtues, but her attitude is a big turn off and I find myself sighing in frustrated exhaustion whenever she shows up.
True. But in the end it's because she's an assassin at her core, her personality has been warped and molded by that life. I'm sure Yoruichi tried to show her that there's more to life than that but obviously, it didn't make much headway if at all. Pretty Ironic that an assassin has such an explosive temper.
True, and like I said, I respect her virtues. But, just personally, I have a hard time tolerating her. Understanding why someone is unlikable does not suddenly make them likable. You know?
@@1wayin2waysout300 Oh yes. Funnily enough Yoruichi is using that attitude to get back at Urahara for him using her in the battle with Askin: she sends Sui-Feng to get stuff from him on occasion at the shoten.
Agree very much, she is a character many hate on, but is really understandable and even relatable to many (granted seeing ourselves in something can make us angry with it.)
To me at least, I feel like Soi Fon does in fact love Youruichi, but it's a very one sided love and obsession. It seems odd that she'd be blushing and that much over her, and why Youruichi doesn't seem to act the same. At least that's how I feel.
I always really liked Soifon since I also was obsessed with a catgirl I was very close to, and humorously I also got abandoned in favor of a scruffy blonde engineer. Also your analysis of her shikai being her professional self and her bankai being her personality was really insightful.
Bro Soi Fon has always been my favorite captain and I’m soo disappointed that she just doesn’t live up to my expectations Kubo could’ve done much better with her, she legit doesn’t interact with Ichigo at all and I think the two of them could’ve had interesting interactions but the same can be said of all the captains if you ask me which ofc no one is lol
I agree that Kubo could’ve done more with her, cause she’s my favorite as well. The only time she interacted with Ichigo was during the Fake Karakura town arc and the Fullbringer arc when Ichigo requested to take Ginjo back to Karakura town where he’ll bury him at, those are the only scenes we’ve seen Soi Fon interacted with him. However in fanfiction, anything’s possible to where Soi Fon can be fleshed out more and interact with others besides Yoruichi.
Id say that on some level that Soifon and Yoruichi’s relationship is romantic. As in those student mentor relationships that get very close when neither party expected it to, it just “kinda happened”. I see Soifon as someone who thought her admiration was just that, just a great respect and reverence of a woman she wants to be like, but really its a great infatuation. Especially with how she reacted with Yoruichi leaving and when Yoruichi returned Soi Fon wonders most of all not “why did Yoruichi leave?” but “why didnt Yoruichi take me with her?”. She wanted to be by her mentor’s side. Although I suspect Soi Fon isnt even aware thats what her exact feelings are and I wouldnt put it past Kubo accidentally writing a pretty gay character / romance.
Awesome video as always my dude. Somthing I would love to hear your thoughts about. In the battle against Askin, do you believe Soi fon could have been a great addition or even replacement for the little brother? I love that fight, but I believe so much more could of been added to all of the characters relationships or simply more could of been explored. Minus Grimwjow of course. I know you don't do what ifs, but I would love to hear your 2 cents on this. As I believe Soi fon did not live up to her full potential as a character. Which lame, because she is honestly 1 of my favorite characters. Had she been in that battle with her former Senpai and the man who she blames for it all. Idk, just seems like there is a MASSIVE amount of just character building potential there alone.
Just a little correcition, Respira is no breath of death, is just the act of breathing. Ella respira= She is breathing Calmate y respira= Stay calm and breath. I love the rest of the video as usual, I really love your Bleach character analisys, and your channel is one of the reasons I started to read the manga again!

Her bankai and shikai are more alive in a object persepective. Her shikai signifies a 99% chance two hit kill. Her bankai represents a one shot kill. Thats the real connection
all my buddies asked why i love her so much IDK either but she IS the only one to go TOE to TOE with Yoruichi...but her bankai could of been better since the shikai was a 2 shot kill kinda makes sense she has a 1 shot as her bankai but wish its form was better in shikai
Argh I agree that Soi Fon is one of the well-written characters in Bleach. Like what Kubo (and Narita) did to Hisagi and Kaname in CFYOW. I wish they will do her justice.
Thanks for your great videos! Can you do Orihime at some point ? I think that her powers are very cool and that her mindset is very interesting because she’s the only one acting like a plausible 15YO girl! Meaning that she can be shocked by violence and don’t want to kill everyone !

She refers to her bankai as shameful...
@@corruptangel6793 How would you describe Ichigos Bankai with his personality?
@@UnifiedEntity Ichigo is someone who is direct, blunt even, and very protective of others; always rushing to the frontline to help regardless of the risk/danger to himself. Ichigo's Bankai embodies that.
Even his Getsuga Tenshou is all about breaking through obstacles. And in it's purest form is a self-sacrificial ability.
@@corruptangel6793 Great analysis 👌🏽👌🏽
Soifon is personally my 3rd fav Captain, she grew on me and i love her skills,
plus i got a thing for assassins
edit: lets be honest, who doesnt worship Yoruichi
true
As dark as she can be and as sinister as her values are, I'd bring Sui-Feng home too. She's quite the badass.
Facts
Just know yah might argue here and there but when a fight breaks out she's there
an assasin who needs 2 strikes is bad....
its like a sniper who needs 2 head shots...
I love Soifon, I get some of the hate she gets but as a character I think she is amazing and it’s nice to see her getting some love.
Soi Fon is always hating on me being head captain saying Yamamoto is better. Like does the old man have a cool eye patch like me.
LIKE US. US
Did you dropped your skirt chasing?
Kenpatchi was Rocking the eye patch before it was cool to rock an eye patch
She’s my crush in the soul society tbh
Soi Fon breaking down before Yoruichi was the first time I cried in Bleach. I almost forgot her over the years, but it's the first thing I remember from her
💯💯💯💯
She's honestly one of my favorite characters. I loved her so much
Much love from Arizona ❤️❤️
Thank you for finally getting to my favourite Bleach character.
These character analysis make me appreciate the series as a whole so much more
Soi Fon to me was one of my favorites when on-screen because of how commanding she is.
Lets Gooooooo! Been waiting for this. Sadly there is only a few more captains left for analysis.
I've always found Soi-Fon was always underrated. This was a great analysis, and I wish more people actually took time to look at WHY characters are the way they are before judging whether they are a bad/annoying character.
Never cared about soi - fon , but I liked yoruichi so I kinda relate to her so whatever.
Chuckled at this harder than I should've, ngl
@@24klassics thank you 😏😏
I love Soi Fon. She pissed me off sometimes, but I grew fond of her when I learnt more about her over time.
She also reminds me of a combination of Taki from Soul Calibur and Buttercup from the Power Puff Girls.
That anrancar girl who helps lady halibel who has short hair reminds me of butter cup too
11:21 The inside of Soi Fon’s captain’s cloak is the same orange as yoruichi’s outfit.
I'm gonna say no cuz that's like having romantic feelings for your grandmothers friend
@@oppositedaylogicallydoesnt8226 to be fair, the difference in age might not be that large considering soul reapers live longer
Vomits
Shippers: They love each other!
Me: I always thought it was more of a little sister looking up to her cool big sister.
Honestly, I was the same way. I thought Soi Fon was a bit annoying at first until she broke down and asked Yoruichi, "why didn't you take me with you?" I was like, wow, she admired Yoruichi so much she would've betrayed Soul Society too had her mentor simply asked her to.
I wonder, how strong would Soi Fon be had she gone with Yoruichi?
I think Soi Fon was a bit smitten because she seems to blush a lot
I though that soi fon was in love with youruichi
Actually I see a master and an apprentice that's i cant see any further
Nah she legit was in love with her
Yeah I personally can't see Soi Fon having romantic feelings for Yoruichi.
I finished school and I wasn’t expecting something this good today
I’ve always loved soi fon. Such a strong woman yet soft. I also adore her design. I can’t help but to admire female characters who don’t take the traditional “pretty , nice girl” route in a story. She’s hard working, bull headed, and determined plus I can’t help but to head canon her as a lesbian lol so I love her more for that.
I feel she was obviously queer-coded
@@ryanr4242 yea she was
@@ryanr4242 I wouldn’t say she was “queer coded” that title doesn’t really fit her at all as she’s not meant to be an antagonist in any way whatsoever.

Another great analysis dude. Thanks for the awesome video!
Thanks for doing this video. I love Soi-Fon so much❤️ Totally love the relationship between her and Yoruichi. And I love their team up
I’ve watched bleached from the Soul Society Arc to the Fullbringer Arc thanks to watching your videos. Well, except for the Bount arc and the filler arcs in between the major arcs... But still, Now I’m a full Bleach fan
Soi fon is one my favorites in bleach, so underrated but she's in the shadow. Yoruichi next please!
You have made so many in depth analysis of the charcters of Bleach you deserve my sub. Keep up the hard work!
Have you thought about doing a character analysis about Sajin Komamura: THE BEAST. His character design is one of the most unique in the entire series and his connection with Tousen gives him more of an interesting development and back story.
Yeah. His ending just made me cry.
I know nowadays we're almost forced to have a 10 min intro promo but I love you get straight to the point! TY!
Big fan of Soi Fon so thx for the video :)
Finally a good soifon video. The best girl finally getting the appreciation she deserves
Just got to see this video. I have to say, I have a deeper appreciation for her character than I did. Thank you. I'm glad to be subscribed to this channel.
soi fon is such an underutilized character, like most characters in bleach. Good analysis though
So who is faster Soifon or Byakuya?
I think she is a gritty hardworking woman and look forward to seeing her in the future .
This was so good, I’ve always liked her ❤️
Soi-Fon is so underrated. Would defo love to see her more in the series!
DBZIMRAN DESERVES MORE SUBS
THIS IS QUALITY CONTENT!!!!
Definitely one of my favorite characters, even if she wasn't given enough "screen time".
To be fair, Kubo had way different plans with Bleach than what we got. It seems to me that a lot of the characters were underutilized or wasted potential, and that arguably includes Soi Fon. She probably would have been liked and remembered by the masses if Kubo did what he wanted
Mind sharinv what it is?
Alot of people flame soi fon's bankai saying that it makes no sense but to me it actually does.
Her shikai is supposed to be death in 2 hits
Her bankai changes it to supposed death in 1 hit
Ironically i dont think anyone actually dies from her bankai tho
Everyone was on yoruichi about how sexy she looked.
I was always a soi fon guy. I loved her kit and how slick and fast she was.
Her STANK attitude almost got her OTHER arm ripped off by squad zero member
Would love a vid on the meaning behind all the character's names
After so many years she is still one of my favorite female characters! Many reasons why I love her so much:
-Being born in basically slave-assassin clan, she worked so hard, that became a captain.
(Ofc bankai is for the emergency situations only)
-She is very loyal soldier. Her fight with 2nd espada was epic. She lost her hand, but continue to fight without hesitation.
I wish she could simp less for Shihouin clan, but eh, feel like kinda Kubo wasted her potential. (Same with Unohana, who deserved a whole arc instead of a couple of chapters.)
Yet I love dynamics between Soi and Yoruichi, in additional materials and manga they’re shown way better than in the anime. She’s very beautiful and strong character💙
I was looking forward to this vid, ngl. Great work as always!
Finally a well made analisis on Soi Fon, tyty
Hey DBZimran , i think you get a lot of requests... I am very curious how you see Ikkaku Madarame, he is a very interesting caracter.
Niiice. Can't wait to see what's said about Yoruichi.
that was the best character analysis n the emotional content topped it off
Soifon is totally gay for yuroichi
She hates and is jealous uhahara because of his close relationship with yuroichi and the fact she left the gotei for him
Also in the soul society arc she seemed more like a spurned lover more than a spurned subordinate
love the character analysis, here for the quality content.
I remember she was in my Top 10 waifus of Bleach when I was a teenager...she still is XD
thank you for giving soi fon her justice, i’ll always stand against the hate for her character simply because people dont really pay close attention to it and just automatically judge or nit pick❤🌵💯
I can't wait until he makes one about Yoruichi. For that moment, I'm definitely subscribing :D
I love her more now than I ever did...
soi fon is 100% in love with yoruichi but yoruichi sees her as a close friend/student

I loved the analysis!! But I feel like there is so much romance between them (her and yourichi) that some people don't pick up on. Everyone has different love languages, you hit some that may go over some people's head

What
her bankai is just the part of stealth where you say "if no one is alive to tell about it then its still stealth"
I love soi-fon is my favorite character
And here i thought her Bankai was supposed to be an upgrade from a two poke death to a one shot missile.
Finally, a vid on best girl
Ella respira= She is breathing

Soi-fon has such a cool story but very hidden and underrated. Should have been more explored.

I like that her Zanpakuto Spirit is her antithesis in the extreme. It's almost certainty a reflection of what's buried deep inside.
NOT REALLY SURE WHY IN BLEACH BRAVE SOULS THEY GOT SOI FON SIMPING HARD FOR YORUICHI? LIKE 50% of the phrases she says are probably yoruichi sama 😂
When Soi-Fon was fighting Yoruichi were fighting and Soi-Fon lost and broke down crying. That was heartwrenching and you could actually feel it.
Be safe and be 😎
Her bankai and shikai are more alive in a object persepective.
