AnDa Union is part of a musical movement that is finding inspiration in old and forgotten songs, drawing on a repertoire of magical music that had all but disappeared during China's recent tumultuous past. AnDa Union holds on to the essence of Mongolian music while creating a form of music sounds fresh and unique. AnDa Union combines different traditions and styles of music from all over Inner and Outer Mongolia, developing an innovative style previously unheard.
The group describes themselves as music gatherers, digging deep into Mongolian traditions and unearthing forgotten music. They are on a mission to stimulate their culture and reengage young Mongolians to understand how important of their ethic culture and how to protect it from being forgotten.

    不怒自威,蒙古族音乐可以庄严威仪,也可以婉转悱恻,令人震撼的美。

I just read English introduction to the band, which is very different from the information that Chinese conveyed. I disagree what you said in English introduction. On the process of social development, all of us have lost something that our ancestors expecte us to inheritate, no matter the family story or the family viture. It really depends on the individual choice. If we expand this to a group or a nation, in terms of seeking the unforgotten words or songs, it is always the task for young generation. Your claim of the reason of Chinese tumultuous period is not the wellrounded saying. Even for the people of Han nation, they are facing the disappearance of cultural heritage in different historical periods of time. Will they blame to the China's recent situation? Admittedly, a country's policy to different communities matters. In Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, Mongolian culture is well reserved and respected, and singing mongolian songs are not exlusive to Mongolian people, but other nations who are living in this land.

Are you an oversea chinese? Go live in China, under the commie regime, you will understand the suppression of culture and the cruelty of commie atrocity. I'm a Han ethnic, I think Anda's english intro has no problem at all. It's their true opinion and we respect it. Commie regime tried so hard to destroy traditional culture ever since 1949. Go live in Tibet, Xinjiang and the concentration camps in Xinjiang, you will understand the bloody truth. Commie does not equal China, don't be confused.
