21 : the best selling album of the decade
1989 : the best pop album of 2010s ❤️
actually 21 is the best selling album of the century
@João Ferreira I know but I'm talking about 2 albums that defined the 2010s
Teenage Dream by Katy is the superior pop album
Hi bloombloom it's red 😍
21 and 1989! 😍😍
21- album of the century
21- album of all time (billboard)
@@SvrlWs yes
That goes to Good Kid Maad City its still higher than 21 rn will probably grow
@@marshp1999 not even on billboard 200 GOAT meanwhile 21 is at #1 😂
21's stability is actually insane
1989 ended it
@@omgmo854 1989 ended the entire music industry, including Ms. Tank herself, Adele
@@Aukiraofficial be serious
@@aguti7920 Ms. tank's most recent album fell off quickly..
good kid mad city by kendrick has been charting for 10 years and still going
When you have numbers in your album name you immediately become an outseller
Or a singular character
21 & 1989 longevity ✨
TD deserved much better 😥💖
TD was released in 2009
@@cheezekeyk377 2010*
adele💅🏼
I forgot about the longevity of Night Vision!
Wow the most astonishing thing is that there are only two solo artists that are women but they both dominated the charts and took the world by storm!
TBH at this point 21 is immortal lol
Is dying
1989 solos
@@cowboylikedinos i don’t know if ur mad but swiffers like you need to stay behind the curtains of the face of your fandom.
@@cowboylikedinos 1989 is great record but it does not solos 21 lol. It's the opposite. Don't even brag that 1989 spent a year in the top 10. 21 hit No.1 again in its 62nd week that's a total of 24 weeks at no.1. Dying? it went from 180 last week to 165 this week. total of 547 weeks.
@@cowboylikedinos The fact that 1989s pure sales worldwide don't even top 21s sales in just the US alone 🤣🤣🤣
great visuals
Taylor will dominate the 2020’s though.
Note: Frozen (Soundtrack) was released on 2013 not 2014. :)
The fact that Frozen was in the top 10 of the decade still amazes me.
Sad to no see Teenage Dream on here. Like, it is THE pop era, only rivaled by The Fame (2009) through their singles performance on the Hot 100. But alas, there were room for only 10 albums so many other great projects were also left out
Teenage dream was mostly singles.
@@Aj_Comaling I know, but it's still sad. It feels more iconic that many of the albums that managed to be on the decade-end top 10
I swear 1989 coul’ve had more week had it not people released albums every week. 😭
Blank Space by Taylor is The best
How do Adele, Ed sheeran and post Malone have more albums here than THE Taylor swift, who’s the biggest albums artist of this century? Kind of strange 😢
At least she was 2nd.
Cuz her biggest albums were either on 2000s or on 2020s
Taylor Swift- 275 weeks
Fearless- 261 weeks
Speak now- 164 weeks (charting)
Red- 185 Weeks
1989- 423 weeks (charting)
Reputation- 226 weeks (charting)
Lover- 179 weeks (charting)
Folklore- 130 weeks (charting)
Evermore- 110 weeks (charting)
Fearless (Taylor's version) 80 weeks (charting)
Red (Taylor's version) 62 weeks (charting)
Midnights 13 weeks (charting)
it wasn't that common to see albums back in early 10s chart for more than 3 years unlike now (and if they do, they atleast have left the chart atleast once for a weeks before reappearing)
and so what if she only got 1 album in the top 10?
Red was at #32, Speak Now at #50, Reputation at #62 & Fearless at #98. lol it's not sad that she got only one album in the top 10
Having one hit is easier than having multiple. If you're like Taylor who's incredibly consistent, you will lack big peaks, but you'll never have a low point
25?
@Jace Adele's 25 is at Top 19 on Billboard 200 Albums Decade Year-end. 🙂
Tanked
@@cowboylikedinos and Reputank?
@@irisfornillos5114 I expected it to be #2 because of its crazy sales
@@SvrlWs outcharting 21's shadow LMAO
how was anti not here? it hit #1 for two weeks, basically charted for all of 2016-2019 and and was in the top 20 for over a year, makes no sense
#29
Where born to die😊
