What bugs me in this game is the MUST for alts or a network of "friends" to carry you if you want to play DPS... I wish I could just play one character and build it in less than 2 years...

Trust me when I say, back then we could use any class and character and reach the endgame without the "no support raid group problem" that make you get stuck if you don't change your class or create another character. Never saw any good game of the genre that favors supports so much that you need to spent almost a year playing it before being in a position to play a DPS. This is just bad game design and you are just an annoying fanboy. I'm tired of this community defending the way progression works in this game, it's not normal.
Hmm I think Mtm fits more in the Buffer/Synergy Damage category. Since she gives buffs and shred as well as dealing dmg. And she also needs fellow synergy damage dealers to dps well. Sure they've been nerfing her shred lately in exchange for dmg but I dont think she should be put on the DPS category
currently i main eve code ultimate but i plan to eventually master class the other three eve classes (already have the other three at lv 99) but pften start mixing and matching with other classes and characters for some fun
i think u forgot to put MN in buffer/syn damage category cause she has like 3-4 debuffs and can give -4 sec cooldown to all skills repetitively to the entire team as well with Einherjar. she can also solo dps 18-4, saw some videos of it. nice vid tho
I'm personally still stuck between MP and BL on who to make for the KR punch event when it hits NA. I used to main BL before quitting but MP looks very interesting and i enjoy how his abilities look. I'm just unsure if the gear from the event will be enough to not have a horrible time as MP especially when it comes to parties. I guess the safe choice would be BL but if I ever feel the confidence to dps then I'm kinda stuck with Ain as I don't like his other classes... this game is so stressful with all the choices lmao
I main Bluhen myself(dropped RaS after getting SoA drop, i hate RaS in Ran cause permafreeze is annoying for her lol) I find support role much more easy and less stressful to me. Plus its cheaper. as you said, it's way more welcoming to parties. Plus, newbies need to practice and probably ready their wallet if they wanna do efficient dps role. Debating on what class to use this event on, maybe my CL 🤔 been meaning to finally build mine cause i love my Noah 😭❤️ gives me an excuse to play the game again and have a goal.
Thanks for the tutorials. This game doesnt have a lot of tutorials or the tutorials are outdated because things have changed. Difficult to grasp for new players. And to be honest badly designed game. Other games if they were treated like kog treats elsword players they would have shutdown alredy. Els has that something that keeps you coming back
I need like more information on which characters are supports? Like which characters are they? What are they're abilities, what are they able to do, who are the best? Because its my first time playing the game after like 9 years? and I choose lithia as my first character I went with the magician path and I have no idea if I'm making the right choice.
Just try the ones that pick your interest, you can choose your main in the process, the game has a system where you will need to lvl up the other characters anyway if you want to progress. But it's easier if the character has support/healer capabilities.
@@DieSomnia_ The road is full of thorns for Rose since she has no support focused class, but most of her classes have some kind of dmg buff, so you will probably be fine, as I said just find the one you like the most, use others as alts to help you accelerate your main's progression. Every character is viable, some just struggle more to reach endgame, that's why people recommend to start as a support and later change your class. (I don't really like the way things are with this kind of progression so I stopped playing, but I was a TB when I played. I came to this video thinking about coming back with a new character, maybe).

(My favorites for each of them for dps/sub-dps would be IN, Cet, Shakti, for support just use the ones in the video: Dius, Surya and Demersio) But don't force yourself, stay with the character you like the most.
Everyone 😂 have a support path except the protagonist. I love my Elsword (flip flop between KE and GE) but progess with him is reallyyyyy hard. It alway my LA take raid item for him. Next punch im gonna raising my Nyx to help her.

It's a hard decision tbh, so I get it. It took me a long time to decide on a main, which I never thought after so many years I would settle on Bluhen lol You'll figure it out I'm sure, and I'm sure KoG will bring out events like this again
Honestly, playing Ara right now is either you main Apsara or Surya. Mainly because KoG killed Shakti and ironically Apsara does better DPS with her last buff, and they still don't bothered fixing Devi's slow skill casting or giving her passive an action speed increase.
I've mained Twins Picaro since my return to the game in early 2023. Lately, I've been getting hate by guildies because she's a "selfish DPS" that doesn't bring anything to the table. One guildie even bought me a JC ticket and told me to change to RaS. Not wanting to let their money go to waste, I gave RaS a try and found out being a support isn't my playstyle, which seemed to only upset some guildies further. I feel like I'm under a lot of pressure from this as I only want to enjoy the game without being told who and how to play.
Truthfully, those are not good people. For your sake please enjoy what you like and find people who accept that rather than try to make you change because they are selfish
If you are a new/noob player then you should consider carefully what i will say. Choosing certain classes can be VERY dangerous. Various support/buffer ("various" because unfortunately it's often supporting classes that have bad damage when alone) and some DPS classes (the few ones that have good damage only with group help) - will tie your purpose to raids (which are a party content but more importantly a DISGUSTING content for f2p people who don't play a lot) - will make your non-raid dungeon experience bad or in some cases TERRIBLE If it wasn't enough, class change tickets can only be obtained - with real money - from another player for a lot of in-game money - for free only in certain events and those events are not very frequent, so obviously you can't rely on that otherwise you could be spending weeks or even months playing a terrible class Thus, my opinion is that you new/noob players (or experienced f2p players who stay in middle game, like me) should choose to focus on a class, whatever role it has, ONLY if it is sure that the class is also decently playable in solo content.
This game character and class is awesome.. but KoG is worst at "balancing" and love to see player suffer, why not buff underated class, and not doing nerfs.. els player will happy. my favorite class not in meta tier list and can only see meta class deal big dmg.. need some love from KoG~ anyway nice video mate~
Hi I used the main Elesis BQ before Elrianode was release and I stopped playing, now I've returned and playing actively since Lithia 1st path release, I enjoy playing support like Dius Aer and Overmind while working towards my ESPC, But I still want to main an Elesis Character and want to keep my support role status. Oz basically a walking dark orb for raids , her buffs is decent enough in general, if you have great gear set up her dmg is good enough to carry , but her kit isn’t that powerful compared aes

As he said, you can over time. Though if you wanna do end game raid like Ran or higher, you'll have to invest with money cause DPS you need all the meta stuff since it's such a critical role to play. Not counting title switching, strong forces, fighter potions and skill rotations. You actually can get blacklisted in parties if you don't do well(same for supports tho, if you don't perform well and stuff. But this is end game stuff, mid game it's more forgiving). All that drove me away from being a DPS and went to support/buff role personally. It's too stressful and too much money

Encouraging new players to actually play support first help them understand raid and game mechanics better since supports most of the time take care of mechanics in a raid while the DPS focus on damaging. The game doesn't tell you that you are not allowed to play the class you want. It is telling you to adjust if you want to progress. You wouldn't use a bike on a boat race right?

play healer/buffer, spend less while farming and raiding, build ur gear and change to DPS class. Not difficult

I chose to main the Minerva line without watching this video because her entire line's playstyle is satisfying for me
with the new patch, its even better for newbies/f2ps to pick healers. Most CP scaling heals are changed to flat healing.

Aes is verrrry strong after the rework , u should check her out , in fact i got carried by aes in many abyss raid , she is great for dps now

Depends of the party comps, and if they well prepared to survive if they are supports or to do a minimum of damage if they will do the dps
